Avoid, called to advise them I had been involved in a car crash and just ask if it was possible to either pay deposit on credit card or split the payment, but made it clear this would not be essential! They email me to say the landlord no longer wishes to rent with me, so I said okay, well can I view other properties emphasising that I would have the money to save the hassle. They told me no, despite having a few suitable properties listed. On the plus side I got my agency fees back, however it speaks volumes that the 5 star reviews are from landlords and not tenants!

Correct - you asked to split the move in payment - we asked the owner (making it clear it wasn't essential) - the owner indicated he didn't wish to proceed - we processed an immediate refund leaving you free to go and rent elsewhere. Most agents will tell their clients "material facts" relating to potential tenants because they'll get in trouble if they don't. Despite getting a quick refund, within 24 hours you got on every review website possible and expressed your dissatisfaction.

Staff certainly shouldn't be rude, but as you're not listed as a customer of ours it's impossible to look into this any further and leads me to suggest the review may not be genuine. By all means contact our office and ask for a copy of our complaints procedure which will mean this matter DOES get looked into, and a formal response given.

poorest agency I have ever deal with. On the moving day they called us that flat is not ready and they need two more days to prepare it. when I told them that in this case Belvoir has to pay for hotel and for storage of belongings they make it ready in two hours. After six months they decide to sell the flat without letting us know. Right know potential buyers are knocking to our door almost everyday to check the property. Stay away from Belvoir as far as you can......

Sorry you feel like that Jacek. Your move in was delayed by 48 hours as the property was having new carpets (not arranged by us) and the job hadn't been completed / we hadn't been made aware - we agree that wasn't an ideal start. The decision to sell the property was made by the owner though - we don't own the property so we can't decide to sell it. Had we known this was her intention before you moved in, we would have told you - as it's inevitable you would be cheesed off. But we weren't made aware, and having managed the property for 10 years previously with no suggestion that a sale was on the cards, we didn't have any reason to suspect this. Another agent was instructed to sell it without us being informed. We hope you've been able to find something suitable and apologise that the tenancy only lasted 6 months.

We`re renting a house and have some problems with gas boiler. Already two weeks without hot water and heating at house. Agency ignore the problem, just feed us with promises. Breach of the contract.

Terrible rude service! Travelled from Belfast to view a house without being told that the house had already been rented out. Belvoir is a perfect example of how not to do business and I recommend that you stay clear!

You're right, by the time you arrived from Belfast, the property you were interested in had been let - we contacted you on the day to cancel. We're sorry about this, but in a busy rental market it happens - at no time would we suggest to you or any other prospective tenant that a property is somehow 'reserved' for them simply because they've booked a viewing. Equally the decision to remove a property from the market and cancel future viewings is not ours - it's for the Landlord of the individual property to make that call. When a landlord instructs us to stop viewings, we can't simply ignore him/her. Disappointed though you clearly are, we hope you managed to find something suitable.

Interesting to see the last few reviews as being poor. we had a viewing of a house where we cancelled a midwife appointment to go to see this house, to find us both sitting outside the street looking like a couple of mugs as the company failed to show. Having done our own investigation, we found the house to be let already, which we haven’t an issue with, but we do considering they didn't have the decency to let us know. In fact they accused our phone for being faulty as a message went out. I wonder what happened to communication via a phone like normal people tend to do as this would also show up as a miss call if we didn’t answer. In regards to raising this concern, I had to ask for an apology 3 times as the customer service seemed to want to blame technology over lack of professionalism and communication rather than actually taking reasonability for an error they have caused. I wouldn't go with these personally if I was looking for excellent service as they treat you like business people not humans who are genuinely looking for a home to live in.
