Couldn’t explain to me why they took £150 off my deposit to put a shower door back on runners and clean the outside of a skylight. Not the worst letting agency in Northampton, but certainly not the best.

A rare review that isn't a 1* or a 5* - thank you at least for being balanced! To answer your query, the shower door needed repair, not just re-attaching and your were charged £150 because that's the amount the landlord was billed for getting these works done. Thanks for an otherwise successful tenancy.

Worst experience we lived almost five years of this property they didn’t give my deposit . If you have a problem in this property they didn’t help you we had boiler problem or water leaking toilet blocking in the first year we live only one month and the kitchen hob is fallen down on the burner my husband literally survived near fatal incident while he was cooking near the hob very bad service and very rude staff ..

Sorry to hear that we're the worst experience of your life, but as we can't identify you or your property it's hard to respond to this further. We're a fully regulated estate and lettings agent and you have independent redress via the Property Ombudsman if we've genuinely messed something up and refused to resolve it - they can make a financial award against us. This has happened once in 17 years of trading so far.

Absolutely unprofessional service! Agreed with agency to move in studio flat on Monday, on the weekend before get e-mail with update that we can receive the key from property just on Tuesday okay....and on Monday update that property will be ready just on 20th May. But we should move out from current property right today! So now we need to find a new property just for 1 day or go to live outside like a homeless!!! Totally not recommend this agency!!!

When we get a negative review, if we've got something wrong - as all businesses sometimes do - I try and be open and honest about it. However when a review is simply untrue, as the business owner I reserve the right to offer a robust defence. Your partner booked to VIEW a rental property with us. We then sought to delay that viewing by 24 hours, as we could not gain access to the property at the time originally requested. You proceeded online and left your review. At no point did we agree to MOVE YOU IN to anything - why would we when you hadn't seen it, and we hadn't met you? It is a shame that I can't post pictures in this reply, as I'd quite happily screenshot the email exchanges between your partner and ourselves for all to see. Your review, quite simply, is the stuff of fantasy.
