I am new to the rental market. I needed to find a place really fast. Initially, they were fast and responsive. It was a bit frustrating that the process of renting wasn't fully explained to me and I found out by trial and error that added some stress to an already very stressful situation. Overall I'm satisfied with the service I received. Despite some overlooked requests to the team, long turnaround to urgent queries, some confusion when I went to collect they keys and unclear messaging - they got the job done.

One of the worst experiences I have had. Incompetence doesn’t cover it. As someone who demands reliability and integrity I would not use this company. They are poor at communicating and when direct emails are sent they are ignored. If you are a seller I would choose another company as they will more than likely lose you clients. As a buyer I would go direct to the owner of the property and make an off the cards offer and cut them out.

Avoid this estate agent at all costs. This has been one of the worst experiences we have ever had with any supposed “professional” company. The lack of integrity and transparency from the agents is truly unbelievable. We asked to end the contract based on a catalogue of errors and failures by Brockenhurst, they said that they would only release us from the contract if we dropped our formal complaint and sent to them in writing that we would not leave any negative reviews. Both of which are fully within our rights to do, but shows they only care about their own image and not the impact and poor service they have on their customers.
We put an offer on a property, Brockenhurst didn't explain any issues with the seller, and we explained we were ready to move ASAP. We had a 2nd viewing at the property, to be told by the vendor they were in no hurry and kept their previous buyer waiting 9 months before the buyer pulled out after being kept waiting. This obviously sent alarm bells ringing with us, we didn't want our chain to fail because of us and loose the buyer for our house. We asked Brockenhurst if we could view other properties with them and they refused as we had pug in an offer on a property. We explained the situation with the house we put an offer in, but they were not interested, which meant we lost out on other properties. The vendor never replied to anything from our solicitor and wasn't a serious seller. Needless to say after 3 months and considerable expense to us and money we would never get back, we pulled out as it was not a serious house sale. Brockenhurst even confirmed the vendor hadn't been looking at other properties, Which Brockenhurst were aware of. Brockenhurst never responded to any queries and never explained the situation before taking our offer. The house is still on their website, over a year after our offer. Feel sorry for the 3rd person who had put in an offer and being messed about by Brockenhurst and vendor.
