We were happy with the service we received. Rochelle and Gemma were absolutely brilliant at chasing the other parties in the chain and keeping the process going. Briony and the rest of the team were also very good at keeping us up-to-date with interest in our property and booking viewings. The initial valuation was 12% higher than the price we eventually sold for so probably prolonged the process, but this was in line with what other EAs in the area recommended

Bought a property marketed by Manning Stainton, and had regular contact with both Gemma and Rochelle during this process. Both were excellent, keeping in regular communication and doing everything they could to make sure the process went well. This was despite a huge error made by a solicitor earlier in the chain, resulting in significant additional complication. Would be very happy to buy a property through Manning Stainton again as a result of this. Our experience of viewing properties marked by Manning Stainton was mixed (we saw quite a lot, since our house was on the market for a while). Some of their colleagues were great at the viewing, others seemed disinterested or knew nothing about the property. I'm sure this is hard when they have a lot of houses on the market, but at the time it made us feel we had made the right decision in using a different agent to sell ours.

All the staff i had contact with were approachable and helpful. Sadly the buyer's solicitor was shocking. As this conveyancer was appointed by their lender which Connells had also arranged for the buyer. I would suggest connels/sellers check who the Solicitors are before agreeing any offers. Mine on paper was a straight forward transition and yet took over 4 months due to some shocking behaviour from these solicitors. Hopefully connells can provide feedback to the lender. As the sale was delayed, and never looked like it would complete, more viewings were conducted. However, I never really got any feedback on these. In the end the sale went through and I'm sure Andy in particular was relieved after all the stress it caused him, me and our decent solicitors.
