🚨🚨🚨AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! 🚨🚨🚨 2 months after the end of our tenancy and they still hold our deposit. All final bills provided & rent fully paid. Property manager (Paige) has so far attempted to add a deduction for some damages that were clearly documented in the check-in report, consistently avoided calls and emails, & attempted to deduct a debt on a utility bill even after being informed numerous times by the utility provider that the debt was for a period prior to our tenancy. TDS dispute has been raised and Paige fails to respond to TDS. Failed promises, severe lack of communication, and no deposit returned. You will definitely suffer when it comes to getting your deposit returned. UPDATE: Now over 3 months without deposit being returned. Over a month since contacting REDACTED following the reply from JLL below - with no response. I don’t know if we’ve just had the misfortune of dealing with the most revolting JLL employees, but from my experience this is a company whose culture and values revolve around conning their customers out of their deposits. I cannot reiterate this more; do not give JLL your money!
Avoid JLL if you want to be treated like a human being. Three days after moving in — still surrounded by boxes — my property manager Taj contacted me demanding the landlord visit my flat. I said no. He asked again. Then he pushed for a manager key to enter while I wasn’t home, after I had already refused twice. That set the tone for everything that followed. Three months in, I received a Section 21 notice because the landlord wanted to sell — something that should have been disclosed before I signed a long-term tenancy. The disruption of relocating after just three months was enormous. When I asked for one extra month to manage the situation, I was refused. I was told I couldn’t speak to the landlord directly and should “write to them instead.” Meanwhile, Taj immediately booked a checkout appointment before the conversation had even finished. My requests were not taken seriously at any point. I formally asked for a different property manager. I was told it would be “reviewed.” No response ever came, no new contact was provided. I reached out to Helen, who had sent the Section 21 — she said she couldn’t help and redirected me back to Taj. Even at checkout, when I needed a reference, it was still Taj and it took a week to make him do so, said he didn’t receive email, which was a completely lie. The loop never closed. The checkout report listed items that were pre-existing — things that were already there before I moved in — and deductions followed. Apparently they assumed I wouldn’t check. At every stage: ignored, bounced around, and treated as an inconvenience rather than a paying tenant. That seems to be the spirit of this company.

Extremely shocking experience after renting for almost 3years with these guys. Our deposit has been wrongly kept on hold for more than 4 months now. 1st they tried to wrongly charge us for damages which were pre-existing when we moved in. Thankfully we had all evidence and they had to remove those charges. But now they have wrongfully kept our deposit on hold with no proper context. Good luck to anyone choosing these guys , u will for sure suffer when it comes to getting deposits back.
I am extremely disappointed with JLL's service. We vacated our premises in January 2024, provided all necessary bills and proof of payment, yet they are still holding our deposit. They keep making excuses about the utility provider, which is unacceptable. Moreover, Paige Waller didn't inform us that she was no longer managing our flat and failed to introduce us to the new property manager, Ashley Prowse, who had no background knowledge or context on our situation. This lack of communication and professionalism is frustrating and unacceptable. Avoid JLL if you want a hassle-free rental experience.
Modern day fraudsters. They are never impartial and always side with the Landlord, however when moving into the property they treat you a different way. They kept hold of my deposit through pettiness, it took me over 3 months to get it back. BEWARE OF THE FAKE REVIEWS !!!
