Never rent with them. Central building in Liverpool is massive joke. Property management company is almost non existing on going issues with main door not fixed, lifts are not working for months, pipes burst and major leak occurred and no one is to ensure fix. Avoid avoid avoid their properties
Avoid, avoid, avoid, complete time wasters. Whole experience was bad from beginning to end. I went through the process of applying for a viewing on their website. On the form, evening slots were available yet when I spoke to them later, suddenly they didn't do evening viewings. I was forced to use my only remaining afternoon of annual leave to set up the viewing and I clearly requested that if anything changed and the apartment was no longer available to let me know in advance because I live in a different city and have to travel in. I called on the morning of the viewing to ask if it was still on and they said yes, of course. It was only when I arrived at the property that someone called Helen messaged me on WhatsApp to say the viewing was cancelled. I'd lost over 20 pounds for my train ticket and lost my last afternoon of annual leave for nothing. This lot have zero respect for their customers or for your time and are completely unprofessional. They expect you to drop everything to accommodate to them but then don't give you the common courtesy to respect your time. Do not trust them.
Can't fault Helen Berrett. Lovely to speak with. Always responsive when arranging viewings, answering questions etc. Can't fault her at all. However, the amount of problems with this flat I noticed within a week of moving in is atrocious. The condition of the property upon moving in is shocking. IMAGES ATTACHED Moved into the property on April 6th 2024. There's awful staining on the blinds. During the viewing, the blinds were pulled all the way back to disguise this, so I unfortunately did not notice this staining until I moved in - i have a video of the blinds being pulled back during the viewing and a video of their condition on my move-in date. There's horrible brown stains on all of the blinds. Why would these not be cleaned/replaced before a new tennant moves in? Its not even like the stains are small. They're huge and cover a good 30% - 40% of the blinds in the kitchen. The window in the living room flew open when it was completely shut when the wind started to pick up. I called the out of hours team and was told someone would contact me that week to arrange a call out. I've received no call back and this was reported around April 6th 2024 (I'm writing this on April 22nd). I've since been securing the window shut with tape and tying string from the handle to the base of my computer desk to keep it shut and to keep the breeze out as much as possible. Still freezing. THE LIVING ROOM RADIATOR DOESNT EVEN WORK TO MAKE UP FOR THE DRAFT! Here are some more issues: . There's error codes on the washing machine so I can't use it to full capacity. . The dishwasher has tape all along the bottom so I won't be using it until someone has come to view it. This wasnt noticed until i moved in. I reported this on April 9th 2024 (3 days after moving in). Still no one has confirmed when they will be visiting to fix this. . One of the dials on the hob is there purely for show - its broken off so it's just been placed on there to appear not broken. . The radiator in the living room doesn't workso combined with the window issue, its freezing. . The bathroom sink is damaged and the damage has been covered with a sloppy coat of paint covering a third of the sink (see photo). . The fridge absolutely stunk and there was brown liquid underneath the bottom draw from what looked like juice from raw meat had just sat there. Why wasn't this cleaned before I moved in by Qube Lettings and MANAGEMENT company? Absolutely shocking. I'll never recommend Qube Lettings to anyone. My rent is supposed to include full use of appliances & heating. I've moved in and this hasn't been the case. All of the above was noticed in JUST THE FIRST 3 DAYS OF ME MOVING IN. I'm going to review whether paying full rent is appropriate given that the things that are to be included in my rent are not fully functional and when ive reported some of these issues, i havent heard a thing back. At this point, there are that many things that need fixing, I feel like coping with some of them is easier than constantly raising tickets on their online portal and having to speak with different people over a large number of issues and have people constantly visiting. That's if they even contact you Joke. Such a shame because Helen was lovely but the management of the property is disgraceful
Genuinely the worst management company I have ever come across. A disgusting handover, was told in person and had emails of proof that the redecoration that needed doing won’t be deducted from our deposit which they very much lied about and …
Made an account just to warn people about this dismal agency. For those looking for a property in Liverpool I highly recommend avoiding these folks. 1 They ask for over £1,000 for your first month and deposit up front when you join. Plus if you want to terminate your contract early you need to pay £660 on top not including your deposit. So you cannot use that to pay that fee. But they will take money out of your deposit anway for "cleaning fees and or damages".Even though damages mentioned where recorded and photographed before I moved in. The building in question was also not secure for 5 months. The doors were always open and parcels where constantly stolen.I was also informed by other tennents that if you reported a issue with parts of their property you'd be charged the repair fee not them (which is illegal the landlord should be responsable).
Says it all when the company spend more time on here writing fake positive reviews, than they do actually managing their properties or responding to and fixing issues. Just look at the format, how they always happen to mention employees by name and what a wonderful job they've supposedly done. Frankly embarrassing conduct for a "professional" company. Always quick to pass the buck, to blame the building management (even though they're all connected under Fortis Group) or say that a contractor is on their way to fix issues (even though follow up calls prove they haven't even contacted them).
