Appalling service. Promised to drop keys off at 8pm, now 10pm and still waiting. Great when they want your property on the market but very ignorant after. More about the listing. Awful to work with, couldn't write the advert properly, had to be told what to do during each step of the selling process. Very unprofessional.

I was very upset by my experience with Dexters, and have decided to discontinue my property search with them. I enquired about a property in the TW9 area, spoke to a representative from the Dexters Richmond branch about my preferences, and then scheduled viewings the following weekend. By the next business day, I received a plethora of emails and phone calls from 5 other Dexters agents, including two from this Kingston branch and one other from the Richmond branch. By the time the second Kingston branch representative phoned me, I was very upset at getting harassed with so many phone calls and emails. So, I asked for a note to be added to my account immediately, expressing how I did not want to be contacted by anyone at Dexters anymore. I was then still contacted by another agent from the Richmond branch, who sent me properties that I was already scheduled to view this weekend. The whole process has been very confusing and frustrating, and when I shared my complaint to the Shepherd's Bush branch, I was told by the manager that "This is how things are done. We have a shared contact system" and was not offered any real or tangible solutions. Needless to say, I was not pleased and will not be returning to Dexters for my property search.

Be very cautious when asking Dexters Kingston to value a house for sale. They did so for us in October 2017 and brought along a handful of brochures for comparable sales they had apparently made. We fact-checked the sold prices via the land registry and found that they had inflated the prices of all 3 properties for which they provided sold prices. House at £595k on Shortlands Road they claimed to have sold for asking price actually went for £565k, House on York Road claimed asking price of £515k actually went for £472.5k, Shortlands Road at £675k claimed 'just under asking price' actually went for £650k. This seems like very shabby practice to us and I would recommend avoiding them.

I am appalled at the way that Dexter’s Lettings in Kingston, is treating my friend a single mother due to no fault of her own. Dexter’s have made an error in letting a property, that they should not have let to her. According to them she is the one at fault and she has been passed from one person to another, alwhile the office have been deflecting the issue and not actually helping her or admitting they made an error. According to the manager the person who let her the property, is the top lettings negotiator in the office and knows what she is doing is to a professional level. Dexter’s are trying really hard not to pay out for their error, or resolve this issue where my friend may end up homeless.

Incredibly poor service. Gave them so many chances to rectify problems we have encountered. if you want someone to protect your property and your income find another agent. The first tenancy they failed to notice that the tenant didn’t pay for 4 months, failed to inspect the property, ignored complaints from my neighbours and when that ended the property it was wrecked (including grow bags being used to grow cannibis in bedrooms). They apologised and offered me free management for a year, blamed it on the girl looking after my property, found me a new person to deal with and found a tenant. I thought things would be better, this time when the tenancy was broken early they have been obstructive in the least to my gettting money back from my deposit to cover both damages and loss of rent. This is my only income and has left my child and I in a dangerous position financially. I should have never trusted them a second time but I was persuaded to give them a second chance. So foolish!!
