This is an exemplary example of how estate agents SHOULD operate. Understanding, eager to do right by the tenant and HONEST! Hear that Chancellors Surbiton? Honest! Or Hawes and Co who’s referencing Company took over two WEEKS to tell me exactly what they needed from us, wasting valuable time. I rarely used to leave reviews, but I feel that good behaviour and conduct should be rewarded and bad behaviour and conduct should be exposed for what it is. Even though I have not yet completed an agreement with Dexter’s, and may not do, as we are dealing with another lovely company now, I feel people need to really look at these reviews before going to them. Trust me, it will save you Agro in the future. Moving house is such a stressful thing to have to do as a renter, and having a company that are doing their job is refreshing, unfortunately quite rare. Go to a professional company, and don’t always just look for big companies. The small ones are lovely, efficient and brilliant. But for goodness sake, avoid ones that treat people badly and with disrespect.

I had Paul Ford as our property manager for a flat I am renting for the 12 months I'm studying my Master degree here in London. Paul was professional, friendly, easy to approach, he never panics, and easy to negotiate with on issues regarding the flat. He's a property manager I feel relaxed around. It's been a pleasure!

Good experience dealing with Amelia Davis - proactive, helpful and solution oriented letting agent. Over all good experience with Dexter Kingston and will be happy to recommend to friends and colleagues. However, the property management team could be a little more customer focussed.

Hi! I have put an offer to rent a hose, around Kingston Upon Thames, through them. The process became complicated as the landlord was out of UK, at the time and I was a new person in UK, too! They (especially, George) helped me a lot to make me more familiar with UK property renting regulations and we made the contract finally!

Dexter’s did not communicate fully during the selling process. At times I had to phone them for an update and I gained more information from the estate agents who I was buying a property with.

Dexters Kingston (Harry Khan) got us through a quite long and complicated sale for which we are very relieved. A call out too to David Fisher. However, I feel that Dexters, like other estate agents, initially over-priced the house we were selling (in hope? Optimism?) which slowed the viewings and sale. Their valuation didn’t recognise the current very dampened market, and meant we had to reduce the price by a hefty amount to get visits - which prolonged the sale period and caused anxiety, We also hadn’t met our buyers, and as the sale period lengthened with various complications, we were keen to talk to them direct. Dexters were unhappy about this but we did eventually pass emails back and forth through their office, which not only helped us to get a hang of our buyers - who are great - but they also had a better idea about us. I believe the contact (albeit at one remove) eased things a lot. Why were Dexters not keen on personal contact? We don’t know.
