Great friendly service

I've used Umega letting for 3 years as the letting agent for my flat and they are efficient and effective at managing any problems. The property I let was my home and I intend to return eventually if work allows so it was important to me that I found a good agent to help look after my property. My tenant has remained the same for the 3 years so I can assume that they must be happy with the service too.

My partner and I have rented two different properties managed by Umega Lettings over the last three years and two months. We have always found the team at Umega helpful, approachable and responsive. Our main points of contact over the last couple of years have been Vicky in marketing and Nikki in maintenance, who have both been great at getting back to us promptly and in a friendly manner in relation to any issues and enquiries. As someone with a fair amount of negative experiences of estate agencies in the past (extremely poor service, docking deposits for no good reason etc.) I would not hesitate to recommend Umega as a reliable, efficient and professional company if you are looking to rent a property in Edinburgh. Can't recommend this company highly enough. After two years trying to lease my flat independently, I contacted Umega after problems with a non-paying non-leaving weasel of a tenant. They got the guy out and set up a payment plan. The flat was a disaster area when we got it back: Umega had it spotless and a new reliable tenant found within days, all for a reasonable cost. And all while I was in Australia. I sent enquiries to 10 or so Edinburgh agents before making my choice. Save yourself the time, go with Umega!
