I found this company to be incompetent. The service is poor and the willingness to help is zero. I am glad that I no longer have to deal with them. Good luck to anyone that does.
Pathetic company, they tie you in knots with contracts. One of the stipulations in the contract states that should you wish to end the lease you must give 2 months notice. Should Northwood fail to find a new tenant you must continue paying the rent. It took them several weeks to send round a contractor to make sure the house was well maintained. They had the audacity to claim the floor needed cleaned again after them having the keys for 2-3 weeks. Stay well away from this company.
They manage our property on riverside drive, Absolutely shocking service for a 12% fee!!! Our rent goes in anywhere in a 10 day 'zone', No consistency at all!! Very rarely reply to emails either, sooooo disappointed :-(
Charismatic, but that's all. They fail to call back for over a week at best, and if you dare put an offer in on a place they won't contact you until they've received a better offer from someone else. Also make sure you know everything you can do to hold a place, like filling in an actual application form and paying a holding fee beforehand, because they sure as hell won't tell you anything you don't ask about. And don't be fooled by their charismatic and seemingly helpful tone of voice, they don't care about you, no matter how difficult your situation.
Put an application in. Never had a word back. All contact was from my side. Not one call from the company. Shocking customer service.
Do not use this agency!!! My husband and I have received appalling service from Northwood Dundee and when trying to cancel our contract with them, because we can no longer trust them to carry out the job in which we pay them to do, they have a very unfair clause in our contract which stipulates we cannot break the agreement until the current tenancy is over. They also have another clause in the contract which stipulates we cannot provide the current tenant which they have found for us with a new tenancy agreement during the first 6 months after their end of tenancy date. This leaves us in a very difficult position because it is forcing us to end a tenancy with our current Tenant (who is due to have a baby next month) in July and find new Tenants. We are not looking to cancel the contract because we no longer want to pay them for their service; we are looking to cancel on the grounds that they are not providing us with the service in which we are paying them for.
