PLEASE AVOID THIS LETTING AGENT-If you see Sean Lewis Properties as your landlord through them run a mile, he has been taken to court a few times over breaching tenants rights. The regional manager is the sister of Sean Lewis and pretends that she has no way to contact him...odd you can't contact your own brother??? If I could rate lower than one star I would, where to start. We rented a property for three years with belvoir and it was a constant fight with them the whole time. I suffer with severe asthma and it was made clear from the start but the flat was mouldy, they lied about the windows being double glazed, they left us without a working boiler for 6 months in the winter because the landlord refused to pay for it and the window was leaking for the entire three years despite asking for it to be repaired. It wasn't just an issue with our flat but the entire building and it was the same scenario every time. We would submit a repair request, they would sent someone out (eventually) and they would receive a quote which the landlord would promptly ignore. The attitude of the staff was appalling they're completely heartless and condescending, they couldn't care less that you are living in a freezing, mouldly flat, and since there is a housing crisis they know full well nothing will be done about it so they carry on as they make money off your misery. To top it all off they kept our deposit way past the legal allowance and I doubt they bothered to even inspect the property but I know for sure we left it in a better state than we got it. Good luck if you go with them, they'll be nice as pie till they get you in and then you're ignored.
I used Belvoir for nearly 20 years. The original company was good but they were taken over a couple of years ago and the new owners don't seem to care about either landlords or tenants. They are dishonest as well as inefficient. I took them to the First Tier Tribunal for breaking the Letting Agents charter. I was awarded a sum of money to cover what they had cost me but they haven't paid it so I will now proceed to take further legal action. As others have said, I was made quite ill by having to fight them and have now sold my property rather than re-let it.
Dont go anywhere near this company. They take all and give back absolutely nothing.

Belvoir Estate Agents Perth are the worst Estate Agents ever as they treated me unfairly and unprofessional. They were happy to carry out my requests when I was landlord but as soon as I requested them to serve tenant notice to vacate, they stopped replying my emails or returning my phone calls. I even travelled from Channel Islands twice to their office to verify if my instructions had been carried out. Each time I was met at reception and told person handling my account was out viewing properties and she would phone me but she did not. I gave Belvoir Estate Agents Perth, three months notice to serve the notice to vacate but three months later I found it had not been done. I then complained to head office and regional office, and only then notice was eventually served. I had made preparations to move back but instead I had to put my belongings in storage whilst waiting for my flat to be vacant. It caused a lot of inconvenience,not to mention the financial drain of paying for storage. The emotional, mental anguish and stress this caused me, has made me unwell.
Held my deposit for 9 months after we moved out due to "cooker cleaning" and "damage" that wasn't explained. I refuted this and was ignored for 7 months, until I eventually threatened with legal and a campaign with Living Rent (Please join if you are a tenant to fight these **). Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. We have had notice to leave straight after we had reported neighbours to police for harrasment due to stupid complaints being sent in when we had valuable excuses. We passed every single visit with no issues. We did make some changes to the house but as said by the owner Ron these can be put back to original should the tenancy be terminated. They also use rogue tradesmen, one workman we had to request not to be sent back to us. Have rented for over 16 years and this company is by far the worst never had any issues up till now. We have now taken this to a solicitor.
I organised a flat viewing with the Dundee branch, they couldn't even be bothered to show up for the appointment, nor pick up the phone. I've left them a phone message and sent an email, so far no apologies or response. They clearly don't care, this was my third interaction with this company and will be my last, somehow they managed to make each experience worse and more difficult.
Rubbish. Viewed a flat, was supposed to be sent an application form, it wasn't sent over. I then emailed them and they have never replied. Also, apparently a two bedroom property for rent, yet the second room wasn't big enough to fit a bed into so how is that a bedroom???? Absolutely atrocious service.
