Absolute worse letting agency ever experienced .avoid if you have no alternative Office staff are abrupt unhelpful and do not have any customer service ability on any level

I arranged a viewing at 12:30, and I was at the door at 12:33 as parking was very busy in the area. No one was there, and so I waited another 5 minutes and then called the company. They said no one showed up for the viewing, and so he had already left for another property. I drove half an hour from St Andrews for the viewing, and he couldn’t give me 3 minutes, or at least attempt to call me and ask to see if I was still attending as I scheduled it literally the day before. They wasted an hour of my time and petrol.

They do not give viewings via website or emails so we called and got an appointment to view a property in Dundee. We were on time but they did not show up. We waited and called but none of the calls were answered. Looks like they are not interested in selling or renting property. Rude customer service too. Very unsatisfied.

I arranged a viewing today at 11am. For a house at Clepington street. I was there since 10.55am and nobody showed up. Waited till 11.15 also Called the company more than 8 times and nobody answered the phone. The company should investigate these things and should recruit better staff who can provide better service. Only Aimi was very helpful there.

One of the worst letting company I came across, I filled their viewing enquiry like 4-5 weeks back for Morgan Street (SGL) DD4, 1 bedroom flat , at that time company representative told me we have 50-60 applications therefore it might take time. Now it's been a month and i called them again at first company representative tells me that we'll give you a call back, after 1 hour I called back ( because no call from their side) and she tells me that i have already told you we have more than 200 applications for that property and we have not reached your application. Okay but 4 weeks back when I filled the enquiry form it was 50-60 people. I wonder if you just skipped my application or if you even do your work as you supposed to be doing. Worst experience. Who ever is owner of Morgan Street (SGL) DD4, 1 bedroom flat. Bro they are not doing justice to you neither to me. If there was a option to give negative marking I would have opted that.

As I am sure you are aware there is huge demand for rental properties, particularly in Dundee at the moment. Like many businesses we have been experiencing issues recruiting staff and it is regrettable that this appears to have had an impact on your experience. We do try to set reasonable expectations for potential tenants due to the level of enquiries we regularly now receive for each property. Our staff are working hard to deal with these enquiries as quickly as they can, unfortunately there are very few properties available and significantly more people looking for a property. Called several times, phone not answered Dundee office

If only Google had the option to put down zero stars I would so because my God, is the service there absolutely appalling. About a month, I had noticed that there was a leak in the bathroom, which was leading to the flooring become very unstable and water damaged. Fortunately, the leak has been repaired but I am still waiting for someone to fix the flooring with no success. Everytime I call up asking for any sort of update to my issue I am met with the same response, they promise to sort it out for me only for them to never contact me again and leave me stranded. I was issued a contractor to fix the flooring two weeks ago and he has still not shown up. I don't understand why I am paying them to be ignored over and over again. The flooring has gotten words in the mean time, I have to constantly tread very lightly every time I think of entering the bathroom in fear that the whole thing will collapse in front of me. How long does a tenant have to wait before you guys can do your job? How many calls do I have to make before someone finally decides to respond to me? I would understand if situations have arose and something has prevented them from helping me but at least let me know. At least give me a call or send me an email that you guys can't help me at the moment. Don't leave tenants in the dark about the state of the property they are paying for and lead them on for the sake of nothing. I have an offer to move in with one of my friends and if nothing changes, I will so gladly take them up on this offer.

Hi Dounia, I apologise our service has not met your expectations in relation to the issues you have had. I agree, at the very least, you should have been kept up to date in relation to the status of your issues. As a property management company, we act as the agent of the property owner. As such we must gain their permission in relation to any work that is required to be carried out. There has been a huge shortage of trades men available, and this has unfortunately led to delays in repairs being done as quickly as we would like, however I do again agree that you should be kept up to date with the progress of your repair. I apologise if that was not the case. We have fed this back to the branch manager, and this will be looked at by the team to ensure we look to improve our service. Save your time and go with another agency. Would not recommend to anyone. Tried to view a property twice, agency let us down twice. Unprofessional and I will never rent from them in the future. I would rate a 0 out of 5 if possible. First time we booked a viewing they cancelled 20 minutes before the appointment. Said that the apartment was undergoing “finishing touches”. Does not make sense as a property should not be listed before it is ready. Let alone a property agency should not allow a viewing to be scheduled before it is ready. They offered to reschedule us but they didn’t, we had to call in the next day. Second time we arranged a booking as we were still interested in the apartment. We arrived at the property 10 minutes before as common courtesy. Agent called me and said he will be 5 minutes late. I waited 10 minutes and agent did not show up. I called the agent back at his number and it went straight to voicemail. Thinking that the agent may be driving, I waited another 10 minutes. I called the agent twice again, and went straight to voicemail both times. I called the office and asked them to get into contact with the agent as I had already waited 35 minutes at this point. Property office said “oh did he not call you to cancel?”. Agent and the agency had no courtesy, I had no idea what his name was as he did not even have the courtesy to share his name to me. Agent had no courtesy to call and say he was cancelling, even more the office did not even offer to arrange another agent to come down. They acted as this was normal procedure for them. Wasted our time. Don’t let them waste yours.

I apologise that you had such difficulties in viewing the property, first and for most, you absolutely should expect a level of communication in relation to the cancellation or postponed of a viewing. In relation to listing a property before it is ready, there maybe a number of reasons as to why this would be the case, however I agree viewings should obviously not be booked until such time as we know the property is ready to be viewed. This matter will be investigated, and the relevant feedback/actions will be taken within branch to ensure we are providing a high level of customer service as you quite rightly should expect.
