We have just found a lovely 2-bedroom flat at the edge of the Upper Norwood Triangle. During my househunting-process the biggest frustration was the arrogance of 80% of the approx. 15 letting agencies in this area. Most of them treat you as if you are not a potentional client and you must be happy that they listen to you more than ten seconds. An attitude that I did not found with the people who work at Martin&Co at Church road. The whole process of: viewing, informing, adminstration, interaction in person and by e-mail etc. went fluently. I can imagine that the position of letting agents is not so easy. According to me it should be in the middle between the (potential) tenant and landlord; they should represent the interests of both parties.
