Okay so unusual times! At the beginning of the (first) lockdown, I had made a decision to sell and move to Scotland. Alex from Archer & Co responded extremely quickly to my email contact in April, calls to another significant Agent in Chepstow went unanswered... fortunately my first choice had been Archer & Co having known them previously as a trusted and effective Estate Agent. Over the next few weeks Alex was in frequent contact to understand what I was trying to achieve, and how that worked with my plans to move up north. Alex and his team formulated a strategy to sell my house. and prepared to do so as soon as it was feasible - and whilst waiting for the restrictions to ease, gave me great advice on preparing the house for sale - such as the importance of a dedicated Office, allowing me to completely refurbish my existing office. We discussed and agreed the sale price and how Archer would approach the sale, rather than aiming for a fixed price, or 'offers above' the way forward was very simple. The Photography and Archer team were mobilised to get the details ready for the marketing launch, and were made in advance of the restrictions on House Sales being lifted, and in full compliance with the new ways of working. Viewings were managed extremely well by the Archer team and I was always kept updated. Then the offers came in ... again, great communication from the Archer team on progress and then how to close and secure the best and viable offer - it worked! Sale in super quick time, with a sale price above my expectations.
