My sister and I had the sad task of selling our family home, which had been our parents house for almost 40 years. Out of 4 estate agents, 3 local and 1 national, we chose Archer and Co because Alex was professional, personable and genuine. He was empathetic, he listened to us and we felt that we could trust him with the sale of our parents’ home. He helped us through the early stages producing the most professional online brochure and video which generated a lot of interest. Within a week we sold STC and the process then was mainly handled by Gill who has been an excellent sales progression manager, keeping us updated at every stage and replying very promptly to all our queries and keeping both sides in the loop with all developments. Gill reassured us throughout and we trusted her completely. In the end everything went through and we feel that we definitely chose the right agents to sensitively and professionally market our family home. Even then on the day of completion Alex phoned to thank us for allowing them to handle the sale and to make sure that we were happy with the service we had received. Our family sold our home through Archer & Co. Circumstances meant that we were remote throughout the sale process, often many hours drive away. Having then had an offer accepted on the property we wanted to purchase (also marketed by Archer & Co) we were looked after by Gill who guided us through the process and provided great communication at what was a busy time with the stamp duty holiday coming to an end. From the start Alex gave us both confidence that he would sell our house at a good price for us. I loved the way we could What’s App him and he would reply as quickly as he could , often immediately, always the same day . Once the sale was agreed , Gill took over . She was very patient with us , as we were nearing completion I was emailing her most days . Both Jen and Emma were great showing people around too . Would highly recommend Archers .

We had tried selling with another agency, but didn't have any viewings and service was not great. After coming off the market for a while, we decided to try again but with Archers instead. The work Alex and the team put in was excellent, the photos and video showed off the house so well. Marketing was across different media (not just RightMove or other website), so good exposure of the property. Despite the pandemic we had viewings, and finally an offer. We got the price we wanted for it, so pleased with that. Support from Gill on the completion process was good, and helps to have someone just looking after that part of the selling process.
