Overall, I had a mixed but generally positive experience with this estate agent. The initial consultation about my property was very positive. Kerrie was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and explained the sales process clearly, which gave me confidence from the outset. I was also very happy with the marketing—both the photographs and the written description presented my property really well. It did take around a year to secure a buyer, but during that time I was kept updated by Lisa and felt the property was being actively marketed, which I appreciated. Towards the later stages of the sale, there were some communication issues and instances of miscommunication, particularly between the estate agent and my solicitor. For example, around the Christmas period, I was given differing expectations from each party about when the sale would complete—both seemed to suggest it would be before or just after Christmas, but this ultimately didn’t happen. As a result, I was left unsure who to rely on, which made the situation more confusing and stressful than it needed to be. I do appreciate that at this stage of the process, much of the responsibility sits with the solicitors rather than the estate agent. However, as I was not receiving much communication from my solicitor, I did reach out to the estate agent (Kelly) for updates, and they were helpful in providing what information they could. That said, there were still some gaps that added to the overall uncertainty. When the initial completion date did not go ahead, communication was limited, and it wasn’t always clear what was happening. When completion took place the following day, I was not proactively informed that funds had been received or that the buyers would be collecting the keys, which would have helped avoid some uncertainty at a critical stage. Overall, I appreciate the strong start, the quality of marketing, and the support during a long sale process. Clearer communication between all parties towards the end would have made the experience smoother.

Viewing specialist Jen was prompt and friendly. She shared helpful information about amenities and events in the area, but was not able to help with my property-specific questions around the age of the boiler, insulation of the roof or the area in the loft space. With multiple properties for sale at any time, this was probably too much to ask. But she made my viewing experience pleasant and straightforward otherwise, and was very understanding over a mix up with appointment dates meaning she had visited the day before, too.
