My brother and I had the sad task of selling our family home, after losing both our parents. Great quality service and a higher price than we had hoped for. My sister and I were looking to sell our family home after we inherited it from our parents and rented it out for a few years. Our father bought the house fifty years ago and it was our only family home so it meant a lot to us to sell it as well as we could. We needed an agent who understood this and would guide us through the process. We received good advice about preparing the house for sale and the best way to market it. The emphasis was on understanding the house's appeal and the quality of marketing instead of how quickly we could get the house on the market or going for the highest possible price. The team did lots of viewings with many interested parties which was greatly apprecaited. This led to us achieving a higher overall price as we had a few offers well over the guide price which moved us on to final offers. We feel we did a good job selling a home we care a lot about and we were very happy with the price. All the team at Archer and Co were very helpful and responsive. Archer and Co can cost more than other estate agents but for the quality of service and for marketing which may get you a higher price overall we would definitely recommend them.
