GOODCHILDS Brown Hills-Please avoid GOODCHILDS BROWNHILLS: The worst estate/lettings agents ever. Our flat was taken on my them after our local estate agents sold us out to them. The staff are rude, arrogant, unprofessional, poor communicators, don't stick to arranged appointments (then will lie to your face and accuse you of not making the appointment - all with a tone of attitude might I add). The way they conduct themselves is shameful. They over inflate/exaggerate the need for, and cost of work to be done, and ignore tenants when they raise issues. LANDLORDS: AVOID of you don't want your property swiftly vacated by your poorly looked after tenants. TENANTS: no rental opportunity is worth having to have these amateurs as your agent--avoid avoid avoid I cannot amphasise this enough.

Will gladly rip you off saying houses are worth £10,000+ more than they're worth and make up fake bids from others to push your offers up, they aren't in the office when I ring (surprise surprise) and never ring back and only offer 15 minute viewings because they're "always busy", so it's really bad customer service considering you want to potentially buy a house.

Hello Mr Harris, I would like to get some more details about your experience with us as it appears your review is not quite the case, I would be interested to know if you have a different version so i can get to the bottom of this. I believe a mortgage surveyor has valued the current property you are still purchasing at a lower figure than what you originally offered and this has been renegotiated at the lower price in order for you to proceed with. I can assure you all offers are recorded and under no means are they fabricated. We do follow all laws and regulations and what you have suggested would be against the code of practice 9b and 9c. When you called yesterday my colleague Lisa was currently on to your partner and i believe she called and left you a message to call back, again please notify me if this weren't the case and i will look into it.

Just pathetic. Rubbish service. Please avoid at any cost. We were looking for a house ( 2 bed flat in walsall) for our son who is earning 17k yearly. Plus universal credit 2k per year while the rent of the property was just 450 a month. We have been told that income is not enough. We have been told that our son is earning 7.20 in 2019 while the minimum wage rate is 8.20 . Original documents were provided. Clear case of discrimination as we are Romanian nationals. If anyone replies oh we cant find you in our system or similar I would upload the documents to prove you wrong. So people please dont waste your money..

Put deposit down for house and passed all refrence checks, credit checks, and employer refrence check, brought my tenants liability insurance and was told i would be able to pick my keys up the following friday by Sue. Got a call following week asking for my bank statement and wage slips by leanne even though i had been professionally checked by a tenancy refrence company. Then a day to the month after my holding fee was placed i got a call saying that they are witholding my deposit and the house is back up for let. Really unprofessional as they could have notified me of this but chose not to, would avoid letting with goodchilds. Seaking advice from ombudsman now as i have been mislead by the unprofessional behaviour of the agents.

Goodchilds deleted my review due it being the truth!! They ended up being terrible letting agents. Lie constantly about everything, most the staff have bad attitudes and with held deposit refund until 5:15 on the final day just to be petty! Managing director is just as bad with the way she speaks to tenants, guessing the staff lead by example. Ring you instead of emailing you to avoid email trails of their attitude towards you Dont work in a customer facing job if you dont like dealing with people.

Just to confirm we are not able to delete any review so i'm not sure what happened there? I responded to your emails same day and i followed that up with a phone call to yourself to answer questions you may have had. I also know you were dealing with head office who confirmed the timescale of when your deposit was to be returned and you were not happy that with they said either. We do feel we acted as quickly as possible and kept you informed on a daily basis.
