This esate agent very rude and obnoxious people and arrangant behaviour towards thier customers just asked about a property to let and they make you feel like your 500000 property wudnt recommned this estate agent to anyone as there is also an hint of racism there

Hello Mr Haashim, firstly it saddens me to think you feel this way and i can assure you the staff are only here to help and we do have certain criteria to meet and so i do understand the frustration if you did not meet that. Goodchilds have a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination of any kind, i am Asian myself and i would not tolerate this in any form.

Worst experience I ever had with estate agency.Poor comunication. Put deposit down for house and passed credit checks, employer confirmed my referrence,give them payslips and settlement status number, brought my tenants liability insurance.Had a guarantor, and still been rejected

Poor communication skills, goodchilds don’t care. I accepted not getting my deposit back so I didn’t have to deal with them again after all the lies that the staff were saying. Fences were broken for 18 months the fire was broken the cooker was broken. The shower was broken and so was the floor panels and the heating. I would not recommend

One of the worst experience I’ve had dealing with an estate agent! I’ve travelled all the way from London to view this property in Walsall, They called me to confirm the viewing in the morning which s was meant to be at 16:45. I’ve taken time off work, dragged my 24 week pregnant wife out with me to view this property for them to call me at 16:35 to cancel the appointment because someone else put a holding deposit down. I understand regulations & first come first served, but when booking the appointment they could have given me a heads up that they’ll take a holding deposit at any given time, not 10 minutes before the appointment . Such a massive inconvenience as I’ve had to drive 2h 30min back home. Waste of time & money!!

Hello Ray, I'm sorry to hear of your recent experience. It is unfortunate for you that someone placed a holding fee on the property you were viewing. It is a risk you will take on viewing a rented property and I'm sure you can understand we called you as soon as we were able to, to notify you because it would not have been fair for you to view a property that somebody else has secured.

Excuse after excuse after excuse. Had holding deposit down on a flat for 7 weeks and Goodchilds cancelled it due to messing about with gas and electric certs. I was promised all work would be done whilst office was shut over christmas. 4th Jan came and they still hadnt even got credit on the gas meter to do a gas cert. 11th Jan and then they had done the gas cert and it failed, it was this point Lauren phoned and wanted to cancel. She would not allow me to speak with Anisa Patel. Brownhills Goodchilds are not to be trusted. If you're a landlord i would rent your property with a company that is fit for purpose. I was apparently their "top priority". I would phone for updates every other day to see what was happening and they would not treat you like a customer. They dont take responsibly for their incompetance, blame the landlord and could not even apologise for wasting my time for so long. AVOID!!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Hello Mr Waters, I'm sorry you feel this way but we have kept you up to date on a daily basis and unfortunately there were hold ups that were out of our control which was explained to you. We advised you have a full refund back which was rejected on your part which kept the matter ongoing. The matter got drawn to an end after we insisted you have a full refund back so that you could secure another property which you then accepted. We hope you have now secured another property and would like to wish you all the best.

Goodchilds, Brownhills have managed our 7-8 rental properties for several years and overall the service has been mediocre to poor, but we have put up with it as we have had other business interests taking up our time. Our circumstances have now changed, freeing up us up to take on some of the property management ourselves. Unfortunately, the Goodchilds Terms of Business effectively lock us into their services indefinitely due to punitive cancelation fees.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Hello Mr Rowley , Firstly I am sorry to hear you feel this way. Our terms of business have not changed and unfortunately this does include a fee chargeable to yourself for going direct with the tenant. We have discussed this matter with you and offered you different tailored landlord packages to try and help with this but we were still advised you would like to go direct with the tenant. We are under the impression that this situation is still in negotiations and we are awaiting a reply from yourself in regards to what you would like to do involving the property/tenancy in question. As you have stated we do currently manage 7-8 our your properties and have done for a couple of years and this is the first we were aware that you were not happy with our service. If you could please contact our office we would be more than happy to discuss this with you in more depth.
