At start all same well and friendly. However when we started to ask questions and wanted answers it seem that we were being too difficult. Refusal to relate our issues across or pass our requests to vendor. All these showed up after we exchanged. Unfortunately we used their associate Lawers made things even worse for us. They clearly sided with each other influenced by personal issue's. Very unprofessional to the point that we gave in to vendors request each time. Once visited was agreed, met vendor at address with family member who gave us tought time. I felt we were set up and thrown into a situation, just a day before we took the keys. I'm now left with a house and feeling let down by estate agents. No sense of happy feeling currently, big Mistake using Intercounty at all. They need to deal with cases fairly terrible ordeal.

We are really disappointed to read what wonderful service everyone seems to have had from Inter County BS as this was not our experience at all! The communication was dreadful, Doug the "super progressor" only contacted us once and got all the information wrong, after which we didn't hear from him again & were told he was usually good but was snowed under, not our problem! The Branch Manager took over our account but wasn't much better and eventually we were "helped" by the Area Director. When we complained we were offered a paltry amount of compensation considering the fee charged & the lack of support we received. I would say that if you are lucky you might get good service, we were obviously unlucky and ended up doing most of the sorting out & chasing ourselves! We were VERY disappointed with the service we received so in all honesty couldn't recommend them.

I am very disappointed with

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Intercounty. They were very dismissive and ignored my verbal and email requests for changes to dates after my circumstances changed. They sent me a tenancy agreement without feedback on my email requests on the terms and did not bother to return my calls on the property or give me move-in details. As a tenant, I would not recommend them. They just don't care and customer service is the last thing they are interested in.

I have given a 2 star review not because or how Doug conducted himself but the way the company as a whole dealt with a Divorce settlement sale. would not be recommending Inter County as a go to estate agent in Bishops Stortford. the smaller firms are much more friendly and customer focused

This horrible experience came back to me as I drove past Intercounty the other day. My partner and I were looking to rent a property from them back in April this year. Natasha had seemed pleasant at first, however that changed after we questioned her actions and the money she'd happily taken wouldn't be returned to us as she didn't do her research properly. Thankfully PM Estates were able to help us out very satisfactorily and we found a property soon after. Unfortunately it was Natasha's poor understanding of lettings, her arrogance and stubbornness that meant we'd been left out of pocket and incurred other delay costs too. Hugely disappointing experience and put me off Intercounty completely.

Not happy! Had arranged a viewing with Harry several days in advance and arranged my travel from Ireland to Stansted Mountfitchet to view a property as moving to London. After landing at Stansted, at 9am, received a call to say they had accepted another offer and my 11am viewing was cancelled. Massive inconvenience and expense for something they clearly knew was likely, as the offer must have been made the day before for the landlord to review. Very disappointed and will not recommend.

Hi Shaun, I am very disappointed to read your feedback. My colleague Reece has tried to call you to discuss the matter today and will make contact when he is back in the office next week. Having reviewed the file, I can see that we first spoke about this property with you a week or so before the viewing was arranged for, but the Thursday was the earliest you could do due to other commitments. Other viewings had gone ahead as you would expect and offers made, however nothing was accepted by the landlord. The landlord then made the decision to accept the offer on Thursday morning, so we made contact to inform you that the property had been reserved at the earliest possible opportunity. I do appreciate how disappointing this would have been having travelled to the area on that day, however we were not in a position to advise differently until the Thursday morning. STAY AWAY They asked me to leave a 5 star review before I moved in please ignore that and PLEASE DON’T RENT FROM HERE. It’s nightmarish, lists and lists of issues that they promised to sort out in March 2024. My fridge is broken and it’s taken 2 people (the 3rd coming soon) and months of waiting to tell me it’s broken. My extractor fan is old and tiny so the bathroom ceiling is covered in mould and they painted my bathroom with paint that isn’t suited for bathrooms so it retains water thus causing more mould. Most of my windows have been broken with large cracks going down them which happened before I moved in which haven’t been sorted. Me and my partner have had countless days off to accommodate these people and yet nothing gets done. I’m currently writing this as my boiler has randomly given out. I beg you stay away
