Feedback is not given on viewings. You have to chase for it. Offers not confirmed in writing. They pressure hard for price reductions despite having valued it themselves. They have completely lost their way as a business. Hardly surprising when you see the MD is ex purple bricks!

A COMPLETE DISASTER IN EjVERY WAY. Herewith, I am expressing my opinion regarding this estate agency. I will start by saying that this agency, Intercounty Bishops Stortford, is extremely disorganised. The employees have absolutely no communication among themselves, and it's us who have to be pestered with emails that have nothing to do with us. I have felt a great deal of superiority from the agency's employees when responding to emails requesting information. I believe they think that, being Spanish, we don't deserve the same treatment as a British person. Truly appalling. And to top off this fiasco, at the end of the contract, after leaving the flat in perfect condition—clean and in impeccable order—they didn't return our full deposit. According to the agency, they had to deduct £446 for cleaning and an additional £110 for carpet cleaning, which they manufactured because there was no need to clean the carpet at all. Again, we left the entire flat in perfect condition. The agency's only response was that if we disagreed, we should start a dispute with Mydeposit, which would only delay everything further. To conclude, I want to say DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT AND BE SUBJECTED TO EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARROGANT COMMENTS. By this writing, I am giving my opinion regarding this real estate agency I'm going to start by saying that this real estate agency, Intercounty Bishops Stortford, is an extremely disorganized real estate agency, the employees have no communication with each other and we are the ones who have to bother with emails that have nothing to do with us. With respect to the real estate employees, I have felt a lot of superiority towards me when answering emails asking for information, I think they think that because I am Spanish, I am not Spanish and they have to treat us like any other Brit, the truth is a disaster. And to top off all this disaster at the time of finishing the contract and after leaving the flat in perfect condition and everything clean and in perfect condition, the entire flat was not returned to us because according to the real estate agency they had to take £446 for cleaning and a carpet cleaning charge of £110, which was invented because nowhere in the flat did the carpet need cleaning, where I repeat we left the entire flat in perfect condition. And the only response from the real estate agency was if they did not agree with this, they should start a dispute on Mydeposit where everything would be further delayed. To finish I want to say that DO NOT RENT AT THIS REAL ESTATE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT AND THEY ARE MISTREATING YOU WITH VERY POOR EDUCATIONAL COMMENTS AND WITH A LOT OF PRIDE. A DISART IN ALL RULES.

They do not even deserve one star but unfortunately that is the minimum. I asked them if I have questions about the flat will they wait until I get the answers or they rent out to the first person who puts down the deposit. They said they wait of course. That was a big fat lie. Asked my questions about the property, but they were lazy to even ask the landlord they just lied their face off. Free parking and visitor parking does not excist in the property. Why is it so hard to write an email or call the landlord to get the right answers is beyond me. If the staff there can not do even this they should not be working there. But the cherry on top is that ok I give up because i will not get any answers i just want to rent the property. Then comes the answer that oh sorry it is rented out a couple of days ago. So it looks like Intercounty is full of lazy lieing employees. I hope someone will do somkething about this service because it is truly dreadful. I did not thought i had to continue this thread, but the service went from bad to worse. From the zero star I would like to go to minus 5 now. Just because I receive a dreadful service and I dare to speak up about it now the people there are being even more difficult. I am sorry, but your job is not hard. If you do not want bad reviews than maybe treat your customers right. Not talking to me, forgetting to call me and "accidentally" loosing my papers is just petty. Do your jobs properly or change jobs. I bet it is not hard to find people to replace you who actually does the job. Literally anyone from the street could do a better service than you are at this moment. There are just too many "accidents" and "mistakes" since I talked to you. Looking forward to hear your excuses this time around!

I take on board your thoughts that our communication throughout the process could have been better and I apologise for any stress and inconvenience this would have caused. When you raised your queries with us, we checked the information with the landlord. However, as they are overseas, it took several days to get a response. Upon receiving the answers, you had further queries, which we again had to check with the landlord. At this point my colleague did ask if you wanted to make an offer, which you didn’t wish to do at the time. Unfortunately, the property had a great deal of interest from the open day and rather than wait, the landlord decided to accept one of the offers they had received. I appreciate the frustrations this has caused you. We will endeavor to assist you in finding a new property to move to.

Like Nigel's review, we too had an awful experience, only saved by the last minute intervention of the director who was the only reason we didn't pull the sale. Again a failure to deliver on the initial promises, a complete lack of communication, not listening to our instructions and finally an insulting discount offered given the high fees. A truly dreadful experience at an already stressful time.

Keep getting emails from them eventhough I bought a house over a year ag. try to unsuscribe but it asked me to log into an account. emailed branch to remove my from database. Keep getting these emails. really really annoying
