Before using Barons based on previous experiences I was sceptical about estate agents, but Baron’s have demonstrated that when they do their job well you wouldn’t want to buy and sell without them! They acted with integrity, followed through on promises and from the word go helped us to achieve our goals whilst remaining realistic. We engaged with Patrick first and he help us get the price right. We were extremely pleased with the photos and brochure which gauged the interest of buyers from the get go. Liam held the open day and it resulted in a sale the following week. Charlie was responsible for the after sales which I think is quite unusual, and by engaging with all parties and providing us with weekly progress updates he made that part of the process completely seamless and stress free. Thank you so much to the guys, we’ve enjoyed working with them and we’ll use them again in future without question if we get itchy feet!

Thank you for your successful sale of our Basingstoke property. As you know, we are Australia based and haven’t visited the UK for many years so we’ve done everything via phone or digital. Our letting agent, Oliver Thorne, recommended we include you on our shortlist for selecting a sales agent. We shopped around and chose you because Patrick made a sound proposal and answered our questions without being overly salesy. We weren’t entirely convinced by some of his suggestions, but we trusted his expertise and they turned out to be perfect. You work exceptionally well together as a team. Once the property went onto the market it felt as if everyone in your office was trying to get it sold. Patrick had some time off around this time and the campaign progressed regardless. You secured an asking price offer from a quality purchaser for us extremely rapidly. Once the sale was verbally agreed Charlie took over to ensure the transaction progressed as planned, and Liam arranged for the empty property to be checked weekly to ensure all was in order. Nothing seemed too difficult - a few minor issues raised by the purchaser’s solicitor were rapidly and successfully resolved. Communication with us been excellent - regular, brief and on point. Over the years we have dealt with many property professionals around the world and you are up there amongst the best!

We have bought and sold quite a few houses in Basingstoke, over the years and have to say that Barons have been, by far, the best estate agents that we have used. They have a professional and pro-active approach. From start to finish the service is efficient and effective. The marketing was excellent, a sale quickly accomplished and the conveyancing process, which is usually a nightmare trying to get information and status updates was handled so professionally by Charlie, pro-actively chasing solicitors, buyers, mortgage information etc etc and providing regular meaningful reports back to us. He pulled it all together and made the whole thing look easy. This is how selling property should be done. We would certainly recommend using Barons without hesitation. Absolutely the best decision ever choosing the team at Barons to sell my flat. We tried to sell privately and it fell through so approached Barons in November 2021 to help us. Probably the worst time of year to try to sell a property but with Patrick’s help we sold it within a month. Absolutely loved working with him- he’s just great. We were then passed to Charlie in the post sale team who also didn’t disappoint- he worked very hard to ensure the process kept moving and gave us very regular updates. From the very start of the viewings process Barons estate agents were honest and informative in the property they where selling and we saw a fair few! Once the offer was made and accepted Charlie from the sales progress team was 1st class calling every week with updates and the progress of the move. You can see why Barons have established such a well known name in Basingstoke.

I recently sold and bought a property. The sale of my property was through a large company and the purchase I made was through Barons ! The difference in service between Barons and the other estate agent was so extreme I even wonder why they even deserved their commission on my sale ! If I had known at the start what I know now I would have gone with Barons always ! The service received from Barons from start to finish was excellent! I usually don’t write lengthy reviews but Barons merits every praise possible! I was always kept up to date with regular calls, I was provided support on every level and I can honestly say that Barons is what I call a TRUE estate agent ! Not just a big agency where you become a number once they have you on their books ! Honestly, if you are looking for an estate agent Don’t go with the large companies but I highly recommend to go with Barons !!! Excellent service and support from start to finish ! I cannot thank them enough and it was a pleasure dealing with them !

My wife and I cannot praise the team at Barons enough - 5 years ago we bought through them and this time round, we sold through them. We are big believers that you get what you pay for and Barons are prime examples of that. I’m sure you can pay less and use an online estate agent but realistically, you are screwing yourselves over in terms of the service you get. All the team at Barons were superb from John to Pat and Trevor to Charlie. Although there were delays in the chain beyond our control, the team at Barons were able to chase things, resolve things and reassure my wife and I. We even managed to get a photo of the Barons sign in the national newspapers as a nod to how helpful they were! Thanks everyone there, we will use again one day.
