Nothing but lies the workers take like 5 hours to fit one door constantly moan about rent and what ever else but when they need to refund a tent they say they ent got it just enough update they think they can’t take 336 pound for a door that had to be replaced and no way does a door cost that much even no the police took the door of and said they would pay it but still robbed me for the money even when I suffer mental health to and that’s why the door got kicked of but think it’s right to do what there doing

Inept, don't put your daughter's in one of their properties! £850 for a three bedroom house with great access to the local drug dealer😂😂😂 hope you aren't fond of your car. Answer to owner - so how many house have you left unprotected even after the police told you to sort it???? 27/09/2024 still no reply from the owner.

Completely unprofessional. A nearby property went up for rent and they put a friend of theirs in it before even putting the information on the website. Landlord was never even given the chance to consider other tenants and see if they would make a better offer. Moreover they were happy to waste my time for over a week pretending that they were just too busy to arrange a viewing. They found lying and stringing me along easier than admitting that there was no chance I was even going to view the inside of it. Don't waste your time with these crooks, look elsewhere. Update/ Response: Please see their response below that confirms in their own words my story that they arranged to have a person with whom they had a pre-existing relationship installed into the property before bringing it to the open market, and notice how they do not deny at any time that they pretended there was a chance I could arrange a viewing regardless. Potential tenants! Take Note; these people will waste your time. Further, please notice how despite leaving an anonymous review of the business, they have chosen to use my name in their response in an attempt to intimidate me into removing or altering this review. They know my name only because I provided it to them for the express purposes of arranging viewings of properties, as a company this makes them a data controller of my personally identifiable information. They have chosen to make this information public for a purpose that did not have my express consent and this is a breach of GDPR. Ask yourself as perspective clients of this company if it is worse that such is done from malice or sheer incompetence. Personally I will be seeking legal advice on escalating this matter if my name is not removed within 48 hours.

I’m not sure whether you’ve misunderstood the situation with the person who we have let it to? They certainly aren’t a friend. I’ve been in this business too long to not have learned to not let to relatives or friends. I’m aware that the landlord has been good enough to call you and has sent the email below which really explains everything. George Thank you for your message. The property is now let. I am sorry you are disappointed. The letting agent acts for me . You are aware from when we spoke that a prospective tenant had already viewed who was already with the letting agent with another property. I am guided by them in terms of suitability and rent. I passed your details to them after our conversation and I know that if this couple did not want to proceed or were unsuitable you were to be given viewing before it was marketed. As I said in my call to you they are superb agents who look after landlords and tenants and this tenant has been with them and they have assisted him in finding his next property. Steer clear of this so called letting agent. All we had was lies for nearly 5 years. The worst experience I had was with a director called Richard Hall which I had to insist he left the premises after the way he spoke to my partner then surprise surprise an eviction notice was given to my 12 year old daughter in an open envelope two weeks later. I'm surprised Richard Hall can direct himself home at night. I'm sure they will respond to my honest review with more lies. STEER CLEAR. update to your response, why would the landlord move back in when he lives next door and I've not seen any for sale adverts for the property. You have just proven you tell lies. my advice to anyone steer clear and i suggest searching the one star reviews before doing anything. Yet another update as the house has now gone up for sale on elm dale road, so much for the landlord moving into it MR L&A LETTINGS. Please anyone thinking of using this so called letting agent DONT just save yourself as these idiots nearly put me and my family on the street over Christmas. oh not forgot about you MR HALL.....

Thanks for your thoughts. How odd, you left this property almost one year ago having lived there for six years, during which time you never indicated that you wanted to leave. The landlord eventually instructed us to serve notice as he was either going to move back into the house or sell it. DO NOT USE!! Absolutely disgusting behaviour with the letting agent Jon and when I put a compliant through they try to excuse it or ignore the horrible behaviour of the letting agent. Stating we mislead them because we did not state that my partner will be viewing the property on my behalf (which all letting agent that we used except this one did not have a problem with) because I live 4 hours away. They should have at least told us that this is actually company policy (which they refuse to show). In fact this is actually endorsed by the owner of the company. I guess this disgusting behaviour is also endorsed by the owner as the “investigation” states that Jon will actually be disciplined if this didn’t happen.

Thank you for your review and it's a shame you feel this way. The man who made the initial enquiry told my staff that he would be living there. At the subsequent viewing, he disclosed that he wouldn't actually be living there but was viewing on behalf of a third party. We will never rent a property to anyone that we haven't met! Further to this we eventually conduct home visits for any potential tenant prior to renting to them. This is part of our through assessment of tenants and this is our commitment to landlords. Can you imagine telling a landlord that we have rented your property out to someone we have never met! So, in conclusion, had we been told that the viewing was on behalf of a third party, it would not have gone ahead and we will continue with a policy of properly vetting potential tenants face to face. It's the thing that landlords tell us they like about us. This process acts as a safeguard to both landlords and tenants, who aren’t then set up to fail. Everytime I phone them up to enquiry about a property in my ideal location they ask for me details what I do and who is moving in with me and then I don't hear from them and I find the property has gone and they don't even bother to call to say you have been unsuccessful or even offer you a viewing on the property you have enquired about. I phone them 5 times for a properties on ashmore park and they say okay we have ur details and we will give u a call back as soon as possible and you don't hear from them again. The fact that they don't even give you a chance to be a tenant or the chance view the property or even consider you. They don't seem to want to give anyone a chance that aren't in full time work to rent one of their properties.NegativeResponsiveness

Hello SomeGirls18, sorry you and your mother are disappointed you have been unable to secure a property on Ashmore Park, it is an area of high demand and when a property is marketed there are usually 50+ enquires within 24 hours, we cannot offer everyone a viewing. You will have been informed of this when you have called and we never promise anyone a call back after taking their details as it is not feasible to call those who are not successful in gaining a viewing.

Made an enquiry as a flat I was planning on buying moved to this letting agency as they couldn't sell it previously. Previous estate agent advised me to call to see if the seller was still able to sell while temporarily renting while we wait for inheritance money to go through. While I understand this isn't what the company do they were unnecessarily rude and confrontational to me other the phone regarding this.
