I was very wary about investing in property, I was introduced to L & A Lettings and met Lyndon who explained his story of how he became involved in the letting business, his beliefs regards renting properties and looking after all customers including us and his tenants. When we purchased a property he found tenants for us within days. Did all the vetting, and made us feel confident with his all round knowledge of the industry. He and his staff provide a professional service and always keep you updated with any issues regards properties or tenants. Their knowledge of regulations regards letting is exceptional and you know your properties are monitored with regular checks and visits. Recently with the COVID epidemic L & A Lettings have supported our tenants and kept us as Landlords informed of any issues with receiving rent, and ensured anyone with financial problems were supported.The staff in the office are always professional and polite, respond to queries promptly.I know my properties are been looked after by L & A Lettings and I have recommend them to other parties who were considering becoming Landlords.

My son and I have only been with L & A Lettings for just over a month - and in honesty being at home every day due to the current lock down circumstances revealed a problem which may have otherwise gone unnoticed which soon became more and more apparent. I duly reported it but thought it would not be addressed due to the social distancing and little contact restrictions in place etc - however it was dealt with immediately. Lyndon called on Tuesday evening and by Wednesday lunchtime the problem had been resolved. We could not have asked for better communication and service - and are truly appreciative of Lyndon, Annie and all involved at L & A Lettings - and Brett and the guys who came out and helped resolved the problem that caused us both so much concern and anxiety. Thank You All for going above and beyond.
We've just finished a 4 and a half year tenancy with L&A and it's been really good. Yes, they have a strict way of choosing who gets a property, but only one family can live in it so they have to decide somehow and they need to pick the best tenant for the landlord. Lyndon came out to visit me first at my parents house to check our suitability, then we were offered the property. They also check landlords and will only deal with decent ones, so it works both ways (tenant gsts a good landlord and the landlord gets a good tenant). The property was in good order throughout the tenancy, the only time we had to contact L&A for an emergency was when the boiler died and they sent someone round the same night with a couple of electric heaters. The boiler was replaced a couple of days later when it could be booked in. Other than that it's just the standard stuff, you pay your rent and get a good property to live in. The landlord wanted to sell it in the end, but we were in the process of buying a house anyway so they let us stay there until the house purchase went through. The landlord wanted some items of furniture left there for the estate agent photo's as we bought all new for the new house, the removal costs for this came out of the deposit at the end but it was only about the same as if I'd paid for it to be removed myself anyway. Overall, really good experience and if we hadn't bought a house and rented again then I'd have looked to see what other properties they had.
