Absolutely terrible experience with JW Wood in Bishop Auckland. Communication was poor from start to finish calls and emails were either ignored or took days to get a response. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in actually helping, which made an already stressful process even worse. There were multiple mistakes made along the way that should have been easily avoidable, and instead of taking responsibility, they just passed blame around. It felt like once they had my business, they didn’t care about providing any level of service. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable estate agent. There are far better options out there.
Service and support used to be good, but something has happened in the last 12-18 months and now they are terrible. Other recent reviews confirm this. Not only do the products and services they offer regularly fail, the support time and …
Locking the ability to navigate via Google maps behind yet another paywall. Is yet another example of a once fantastic app now rendered obsolete.
Extremely disappointing service and lack of accountability. We’ve experienced repeated disruption to our internet and phone service during working hours, which has directly affected our ability to operate. …
Avoid this company a bunch of scammers, especially Mandy Turner, Caitlin Lane, Sarah Rees and Sarah Breeze. They tried to demand 6 months rent in advance off me and refused to give me a contract. If they had given me a contract it would be fine but they did not. Very dodgy typical estate agent. Avoid and go with someone else. Mandy is very rude on the phone too and doesn’t like people who don’t have english accents.
I am not satisfied with this agency , I don’t advise anyone to rent or buy from them. …
Careful consideration when renting through these people, like with all the rest of them, they can be neatly lumped into a pile of rent droppings. They will do their best to cling onto unjustifiable rent deductions and make assumptions about your cleaning technique to try to make it happen. We live in an era of ever growing wealth equality where they will want as much out of you as they can, because of this "new norm". Question everything, their not smart. Sales people aren't a match for someone who possesses +13 year analytical science.
I suggest avoiding this company like the plague, highly unprofessional staff
Review for Fine & Country Cardiff – Deeply Unprofessional and Untrustworthy I strongly advise anyone considering buying a property through Fine & Country Cardiff to think twice. We dealt with Gemma, and the experience has been nothing short of appalling. From the beginning, the team were overly pushy and dismissive of our concerns. But once the sale was completed, their attitude turned outright negligent. Despite purchasing a high-value property marketed as a “smart home,” no one had the courtesy to hand over the keys in person. Instead, we were told they were “in the mailbox” and that was the end of their involvement. Upon arrival, we found the garage door was broken and unopenable. An engineer has since confirmed it must be completely replaced at a cost of £2,000. The bathroom sliding door is stuck, meaning steam from the shower floods into the room. And most critically, the entire smart home system is inaccessible. We were given login details linked to an email address that is not ours. After 10 days of calls, emails, and speaking to the U.S.-based provider, we still cannot even turn on the lights. Fine & Country Cardiff have made no effort to assist. No follow-up, no explanation, and certainly no responsibility taken. Their behaviour has been unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic courtesy. I rarely leave reviews, but this situation has caused serious stress and inconvenience. Avoid this agency at all costs. They disappear the moment the payment clears and leave you to deal with all the problems they never disclosed.
