Phoned the branch to sell our house, told the sales team would call us, they didn’t. Waited 2 weeks, filled in an online form asking for a valuation. A week later still no contact. Needless to say won’t be bothering a third time.

I've taken my time to write this review because I wanted to make sure the facts I had were substantiated and cross reference my experience with that of others. To anyone wanting to RENT with this excuse for a company, don't bother unless you are absolutely minted, aristocratic, come from a long line of wealthy people, or have millions in the bank. I'm writing this because they are disgusting in their practices and how they approach anyone they see as 'lesser' than what they represent. They are ELITIST, will not touch you with a barge pole if you don't have what 'they' deem as a 'modest' income, then will lie through their teeth that the 'vendor' has other people lined up or 'the property is now off the market', within 24 hours of them excitingly encouraging you and categorically confirming the property is available. It's important people read this and understand, because I have seen posts all over social media whereby as soon as you claim you are a lone parent, estate agents instantly shun you and assume you must be antisocial or claiming state benefits (no right to judge anyone who does!) One of the first things she said to me was 'are you on Universal Credit', at first I thought, why would they ask that, because Universal Credit (as we all should by now know) does not imply you are on benefits, people that work 60 hour weeks get Universal Credit, but of course, it made sense, the reason she was asking was basically a 'posh' more reasonable sounding way of asking 'are you on benefits.' To anyone reading this who has been turned down for the above reasons inclusive of those who have children, my heart goes out to you, I'm sorry you had to go through that, because I only did it ONCE, I set my heart on a property and they snatched it from me in such a judgemental fashion, I won't be going any further with my hunt for a house, we are just going to buy what we want. What it does to you physically & mentally isn't worth sacrificing your mental wellbeing for. The 3 bed barn conversion in Gisleham (Church Farm Barn), they knew I had my heart set on it, saw my financial details which was a disposable income of 5k per month, but because I said I had mobility issues and lone parent to 2 children, they judged me, then sent me a ridiculous email clearly lying through their back teeth as to why (friends of his want to rent it). If they think I'm going to believe that story they can think again, especially where this was 9 weeks ago and the property has only just come off the market, and within the email she made sure to cover her back by saying; 'the property will stay on the market until he advises us otherwise.' They're an ELITIST company, if you're not throwing pound signs at them, they will chew you up and spit you out. Disgusting in 2024 you're querying whether someone is on 'Universal Credit' because in that moment you feel as a company you're 'better' than us 'lesser mortals', even though I don't claim any means tested state benefits. There are people out there with children who have ambition, on benefits, have successful careers, divorced etc that need a roof over their head or want a better life for themselves, you don't have ANY right to judge them all in the name of lining your pockets from someone that matches the 'elite' criteria you seek. I now turn over 7k per month, good luck with your 'elite' crowd, people like myself and many others out there are the type to pay our rent on time and unproblematic, those who you think are better will be the first ones to give you grief because of their status! If you're a lone parent (male or female) and struggling to find an estate agent who will take you seriously after constantly filling out those forms, you're not going mad, THEY are the problem, not you. These people lack integrity, morals and are unscrupulous to a fault, save yourself the bother and use platforms such as Open Rent that bypass estate agents.

I had a very difficult and disappointing experience buying with this agent. Being charged £65 (non refundable) for an identity check should have rung alarm bells at the start. Propery details were missleading and help from the sales progressor was patchy to say the least, company meeting are more important than speaking with buyers apparently. They did not, even once, answer the phone when I rang. Sometimes returned the call and sometimes didn't. I do not recommend this agent.

Lead Hero contacted me and wanted to present their system. I thought I'd give it a listen, especially since the man who scheduled the appointments was really nice on the phone. Today, Mr. Kießling called me and was anything but friendly. The conversation started with an argument, at which point I asked Mr. Kießling if he wanted to argue with me or present the system as previously promised. Mr. Kießling then ended the call. My experience with Lead Hero has therefore been very negative!

Hi Flo, looks like you have left a review for the wrong business. We are Lead Hero AI, a uk company and we don’t have any German clients currently. It would be great if you could remove this negative review as you obviously have the wrong company.

I strongly advise against using Miles & Barr. As a landlord, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The communication regarding my tenant's arrears was sorely lacking, and I only received the necessary information after persistently pursuing the matter myself. Furthermore, their email correspondence has been consistently unprofessional and discourteous. The overall attitude displayed by the company gives the impression that they have no genuine concern for their clients' businesses. I would recommend seeking alternative property management services to avoid such a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience.

The initial meeting with the agent was ok, he talked us through the different avenues that we could take and sue to our circumstances we chose to do the auction route, which was meant to be the quickest. That’s where it all went down hill in the three months we were with them we had roughly 10 viewing Izzy and Ollie were lovely, friendly showing people around. We were at home when most of the viewings were happening and found that we had to give the viewers the information that the estate agent or Joe at the auction place should have. Communication was bad, I always had to the chasing and in the end went to another estate agent (Wards) who has sold my house in three days. Enough said !

Really abysmal service in failing to sell the most straight forward transaction you could come across . Customer relations non existent . Unpleasant and unhelpful .

Despite the covid pandemic, this appalling estate agent insisted on charging the full amount when all they did was take some external pictures and put the house online. They did no viewings, took no internal photos, got the price wrong and were very rude. Having done my own viewing and accepted an offer I then had to do all the work with the solicitors as my buyer refused to deal with them as they were rude to them as well. Curchods are a dreadful estate agent, exceptionally rude and I would avoid them like the plague. Shame I can't give them 0 stars as this is all they are worth. And this was all with Warren, an experienced sales manager.

Had an interaction with Scott Carson and Alkesh Majevadia at the Kingston Branch of Curchods and was disgusted that they are using COVID -19 as a basis to obtain confidential information and screen buyers. They insisted that they were acting in the interest of the Vendors and refused to arrange an appointment to view 29 Avenue Road KT 1 unless I provide details of the deposit amount I would be putting down and mortgage provider. When informed that insisting a person provide such Confidential Information to make an appointment was potentially a breach of the GDPR Regulations they went on to try and justify their actions by saying that it was for safety reasons! People have died from this Pandemic and key workers have put their lives at risk daily to save people regardless of their economic status! COVID 19 is not a screening opportunity for estate agents nor is it a money making opportunity! Nobody would put themselves in a position to ask for an appointment to view a property at these trying times if they were not serious buyers. Further if anyone came to view a property they are in just as much risk as the next person and a first viewing does not translate into an immediate offer! So the reasons that you are seeking this information from buyers is potentially unlawful and a breach of their privacy but more importantly is disgusting and self serving, Next time you turn up for an appointment at the doctors perhaps they should request your financial capability/status to pay for medical assistance before treating you - just to keep doctors safe and to make sure you are not wasting their time given the pressures of COVID 19!

We are in the middle of a public health emergency. We must make sure that we do not present any unnecessary risks to our clients by conducting physical viewings in their homes, who we are not absolutely certain are in a position to go ahead with the pu…See more

I was looking to rent a house in either Walton-on-thames or Weybridge area and sent them two enquiries about two properties, plus I called them twice and they said they will get back to me but never did. What a shame Danny and Lewis from Walton-on-Thames agency.
