Awful Agent. Just been shouted at by Peter (Owner) I am a landlord and they did not follow instructions. I was told never to call their office again. Avoid if possible. Last choice. I think I can complain to ARLA or the property ombudsman or NTSEAT
Very quick service. However, just be mindful that Karen will be rude to you on the phone if she feels stressed or offended because she feels that she can. Not very professional and clearly from other reviews, this has happened before. This is a family-run business and that probably plays a part in Karen thinking she can speak to you this way. No doubt I'll have a silly response as to why we were spoken to this way. Save your breath guys. And to anyone else choosing this service, it doesn't matter how polite you are. Take this review as a heads up.
Spoke to someone on the phone today. Very unresponsive when they have rats in there loft. Women stated its down to tenants to deal with. Then hung up and told me to go away. Will be report them to the councilNegativeProfessionalism

I don’t know how or why this terribly, rude, ignorant arrogant and aggressive letting agency is getting good reviews but this letting agency should be avoided at ALL measures.
Avoid at all costs!! Belvoir rented a dangerous property to my brother in law!! The house had damp, water was coming through the windows, a boiler in a cupboard in a bedroom had no floor so a small child could fall through, no smoke alarm, no carbon monoxide alarm,no fire blanket or extinguishers and a boiler that didn't work which left the house freezing cold which wasn't appropriate as children lived at the property too!! This is naming just a few things!! My brother in law was repeatedly ignored, spoken down to and spoken to abruptly when he needed assistance from Belvoir. He was given a telephone number to contact in an emergency for problems with the house only to find out that the person at the end of the line was on holiday when he rung and was told "what do you expect me to do?!" , "I'm on holiday"!! It took three days for anything to get sorted!! I spoke to the next door neighbour who told me that both the landlord and Belvoir are absolutely usless!! He said that he expected my brother in law to do a runner like the previous tenants who got sick of being ignored with their problems so stopped paying rent!! My brother in law paid for a professional company to clean the property (even through it was leased to him in a disgusting state). He also left the property early as he couldn't stand living their much longer and was told they couldn't do an inspection as the contract wasn't up even though it was convenient for them to turn up unanounced and demand entry to the property for random inspections!! They are now demanding more money from him even through things weren't in place when he moved in and was spoke down to by the manager who told him they would take money from his deposit!! I have never meet such a money grabbing poorly run company in my life. My family rent out properties and could teach this company a thing or two how to look after clients and could educate them in matters of law which they seem to not care about!! I would give them zero stars if I could!!
Called to find out how much the fees are they charge when letting out a property. Did not want to tell me . The young lady said " well how much do you earn" I asked what relevance this has to me asking what the fees are . She said she can't tell me without knowing how much I earn . I said I feel that is a very personal question and I'm not willing to answer that . Then I was told she can't tell me the fees in case they feel I need a guarantor. If I was renting a property out with these people I'd expect a long wait to get it rented out with cryptic approach I got. Training NEEDED! Absolutely lost a tenant here. Own business references waiting And cash ready .
Bought a property from Belvoir with tenants in situ. Helpful throughout until I told them I am not using them for the letting. Then stopped answering, demanded money from me (which my solicitor advised me not to pay as they are trying to take advantage) and Karen was very abrupt and rude when told this. Using a letting agent that do more and charge less now. Would not use Belvoir again!
