I have used this agency in the past for house rental as a landlord. I feel that staff are not very helpful as they have to pass everything by their manager, this makes decision making very long winded and not professional in the least.
Took over a month to get our deposit back, and whwn we finally did they took a large chunk of it for very minor issues.
No one got back in touch with me
Avoid at all costs, there is not a house wonderful enough to make me use this company! Would have given zero stars if that was an option
As a landlord the service from this agent is "deplorable". While in the 10 years we have rented to tenants, not once have we had a tenant issue. However, when it comes to the agent, there is a complete and utter lack of professionalism and responsibility. If there is no problems or issues then expect things to run quietly and smoothly, (one would not know the agent exists) yet when a challenge or obstacle appears, expect yourself, i.e. the landlord to be the issue. In brief and it's fully provable.... **They allowed a tenant to check out on their own leaving behind several thousand pounds worth of damage. As an overseas landlord, had we not taken an "unscheduled visit back to the UK" this would never have come to light. ***Having said that, the internal ladies are polite and courteous, it just appears they are not allowed to manage things. Personally speaking I wouldn't want to detract anyone from using or dealing with Belvoir's, yet when it comes to ****, the same could not be said.
Awful, Would never rent a property through them again! Any property issues are ignored by them! And then they charge you from your deposit for false issues.Disgusting attitude towards tenants!
Little interaction from the agent , delt more with landlady . Initial picked the keys up was fine , however keys were missing and when I rang asking about missing keys the manager bonnie was rude and abrupt telling me they were all there . I explained I needed the key to get my sofa in as it was to big to go through the front door , her attitude was , well tuff you will have to wait for the landlady to arrive in a few hours I explained this was not good enough as it was raining and it would ruin the sofa . Bonnie told me to organise a lock smith at my own expense . Luckily the landlady arrive a few minutes later with the key also stating there should be one on the bunch from belvoir . Total jokes and unhelpful .
Despite being a tenant for many years with different letting agents I find Belvoir are too demanding with their inspections which occur more frequently than others, and also are quick to extort money from the tenants in the way of unrealistically high fees at any given opportunity
Incompetent and time wasters, avoid at all costs. Can't even be bothered to ring you back after numerous attempts to contact them.
