My agent was very distant and could only be accessed occasionally by email, which he sometimes didn’t reply to, forcing me to call Arden directly. I had to beg for a second dehumidifier, they did not warn me that living in this flat would cost extra to run two dehumidifiers 24/7. They are also making lots of mistakes in their deposit return right now, if you do choose Arden then don’t let them take your deposit lightly as it seems they make claims about almost anything and will back down when proven wrong.

As a landlord this company is dreadful. Lack of detail on maintenance issues, staff coming & going with no knowledge of the business nor requirements for maintaining properties or relationships with tenants. If that's not bad enough, they are now using a 0203 telephone number and not informed any of their landlords. Avoid!

Was looking at giving In House Estate Agents my business. Have recently sold my property and in a position to go in on a property for myself. Met Charlie, found him to lack any personality. Asked him questions about the property and all I got back was he didn’t know as he has only been with In House since May of this year. I understand we all have to start somewhere and build up your experience and knowledge. However, if I’m going to be spending large amounts of cash on a property I also expect someone who is competent and values my potential business. I’ve had a few telephone conversations regarding putting in offers for a property and not only has he made flippant off the cuff remarks (which would come from his arrogance) I have found him to be rude talking above me on phone conversations. Point to note, If I say I don’t want to deal with you as I honestly have no confidence in your knowledge, abilities and above all your professionalism, that should be respected. I had the cash to splash, and you turned me off with your arrogance. You actually did me a huge favour, by walking away and not giving you my business. Lesson to learn, don’t be rude and arrogant to potential buyers. Had I dealt with someone else, I would have put in a new offer. Want to make clear this is NOT a personal review against Charlie. This review is honest and reflects my experience with Charlie. Judging by other reviews of anything critical of in house estate agents, I expect an arrogant/un professional reply defending Charlie. It was his rudeness and arrogance that made me walk away. I hope this review highlights that he requires more training (judging by his linked in profile, he has not that much experience within estate agents) His lack of knowledge and professionalism was evident to see when we met at the viewing. He couldn’t answer many questions, then how do you expect me to want to deal with you further down the line of a potential purchase when you have limited knowledge and you blame that on just being at the company since May. Then when I tell you I want to deal with someone else you flatly refuse and tell me I have to deal with you and you only. That’s rude and arrogant, and that’s what lost you my potential business. Thank you, you done me a favour. Avoid this estate agents. Don’t recommend!

Felt they only had employees interests in consideration. Didn’t know offer much help to my company on a number of occasions. Very vague emails from the team without guidance.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. An advertising board installed by them at a nearby property fell and landed on my car, causing damage. When I contacted them, they immediately denied responsibility, stating that because they believe the sign was installed correctly they are not liable. Regardless of the explanation, the fact remains that a board installed by their company became detached and damaged my vehicle. I was expecting a more responsible and helpful response, especially given they claim to carry public liability insurance. Instead, I was told to claim through my own car insurance. Very frustrating situation and poor customer service when dealing with the consequences of their installation. All in all, if you don’t want problems with your neighbours don’t use them and save yourself a headache
