Trying to sell our house has been a nightmare and when providing feedback they refused to listen.

I rented a property managed by in-house and they tried to hold back part of my deposit claiming it is for freshening up of the property as well as mould damage. These claims were untrue and it’s amazing that I kept a detailed record or the property through photos and emails. We went through the dispute resolution and clearly I was in the right. Dishonesty is disgusting. Jon, honesty is the best policy.

Makes you bid bad news don’t use.

Make you bid for a property that already has a price attached to it.

Would have continued viewing with in house via Diane, if it wasnt for Oliver "The branch manager" who has an unwarranted over inflated ego you would perhaps expect of a property mogul or entrepreneur.

This is the worse estate agents I have ever come across. Only 1 person seemed to know what was going on and that was Guy. Steer clear from this lot Sorry

Do not rent a property through these people they are crooks! They are lovely in the office In St Ives but as soon as they have your money they are not interested. I rented a 2 bed in Woodlands Court in St Ives, Lisa Baugh who is the manager of the property management office is a bare face liar and a thief...she is a a rude and twisted individual who in my opinion does not know how to deal with people or customers she has argued with me over several issues and in the end put the phone down on me. Over £200 of my deposit is currently being stolen for so called cleaning that is not required. I rented a flat where they constantly hid the issues from me until the day I moved in - mould - neighbours with alcohol/ drug problems, one even had a poo on my doorstep... Strongly strongly strongly recommend you use somebody else. STAY AWAY

In house sales & lettings are an absolute disgrace, we booked a viewing with them for a house to rent, we really liked the house so decided to fill in an “application form” when I took it in to the estate agents no one knew anything about the application process so couldn’t help me, they took photo copies of our id’s and said they would file it the following day when the person who did know what to do was in, that evening the owner of the house contacted us and we realised it was someone we knew, they told us we could have the house absolutely no problems, so in the morning my wife contacted the estate agents and informed them that we had spoken to the owner and now our landlord the congratulated us and that was that...... next thing we know we got a bill through the door for 249+vat for our referencing and credit checks, that they had not done.... so my wife again went to see the estate agent at the Wallingford branch and she asked what the bill was for as they hadn’t done anything that they claimed? The estate agent agreed and told my wife the applications had not even been looked at since we had last been in and couldn’t understand why we had had this bill through, brilliant problem over.... only for my wife to receive a phone call from a “manager” she was incredibly rude to my wife implying that she was stupid for not understanding when my wife said she didn’t understand why we had a bill for referencing and credit checks when none had been done the manager continued to be rude and repeating the same dribble over and over. Next my wife tries to file a complaint with the owner of the estate agency and he basically dismissed his manager being rude as a case of her word against his managers, and dismissed the case of his agents word in the first instance about having not done anything with our application as a lie and again our word against theirs, he then had a conversation with me because he didn’t feel he was getting anywhere speaking to my wife in which he basically just repeated what he had said to my wife, but reiterated the fact that his estate agency has to make money, and that because we had viewed the property on the internet, had viewing and filled in an application form we were liable to these charges even though they charge the home owner to advertise the property, arrangement viewings and compiling a number of applicants, But I believe whole heartedly that these charges are criminal,
