"I had an incredibly disappointing experience here today. The staff member I dealt with was beyond unprofessional—their attitude and the way they spoke to me were completely unacceptable. It’s honestly some of the worst treatment I’ve ever received as a customer. Avoid if you expect basic respect."
Horrible experience applying to be considered for a rental property with Arden. Not only did we have to pay the full ‘deposit’ in order to submit our application for the property without confirmation of receipt of this deposit, I was asked inappropriate questions about whether I was currently in my overdraft though I had provided plenty evidence of proof of funds. The reasons for denying our application were flimsy and suspicious, but reading between the lines it is possible this company is simply racist and discriminatory given I had provided my photographic ID clearly showing I am a person of colour. Highly discourage anyone from applying for a rental property with Arden especially after 15 years renting from various agencies and landlords in Edinburgh with no issues. No apology was provided and the experience was wholly denigrating. The line of questioning was intrusive and unnecessary. It was clear they were simply looking for an excuse to deny the application and it is unclear whether our application was actually discussed with the landlord. I have never been so insulted and egregiously treated in my life by a property agency. I hope they engage their staff in sensitivity training and exercise more empathy when it comes to tenancy considerations, especially given the nature of the housing market. We had a stellar recommendation from our previous letting agency.
I got home from work to discover an estate agents sign on my house when it wasn't even for sale. I enquired with the local estate agents who informed me Agency Express had put up the sign, but on the wrong property. The sign was screwed …
Me and my wife arranged a viewing on a flat with this company. They then cancelled 20 mins before the viewing by which time we had arrived at the property. Very unprofessional. The secretary we spoke to was also disrespectful and couldn't care less.
Hung up on me.
Couldn't get through to their advice line despite promises from sales. Didn't deal with my query and nearly ended up in tribunal.
Used these through an add that come with a policy i held at the time. The solicitor i had was sarah marten. I felt like she genuinely couldn't give a shit about whether I won or lost. After explaining everything and how detrimental this was going to be. She never fought my case and in fact felt like she was putting me on trial when she was meant to be working/defending for me. The company that did back me did everything in their power to help me and it worked. Never even got to court. They git the claimant to settle for far far less than she wanted. I would never ever use work nest again. If your case doesn't work for them, then your on your own. I'm appalled looking back on how I was treated compared to the the company that got me the result i needed.
Terrible service. Made it way to complicated for us to use as a small business, we ended up figuring our our own redundancies. Locking small companies in for a minimum 3 years is only good for them. Businesses change constantly, we scale up and scale down as many other great business do. Not these guys. BEWARE!
I wanted to express my dissatisfaction regarding the meeting today and the communication I received from your team. During my call, I was very clear that I was only interested in a one-off visit for Health & Safety support. However, I was …
Have barely heard from Thomas Morris, my first phone call in weeks was yesterday when we exchanged
