The house was advertised as chain free, this was clearly not the case after being reassured by the estate agent three times it was and when it came to exchange we were put under a huge amount of stress and pressure because all of a sudden there was a forward chain/rental. We would have appreciated honesty from the start.

Boring corporate building.
Do not be deceived by the overall appearance of Property Centre or by the positive reviews you may come across. Based on my experience, I would advise anyone dealing with this agency to proceed with extreme caution. Make sure that all promises, agreements, and important discussions are confirmed in writing. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances, as having a written record can save a lot of trouble later. In my experience, the agency's priorities appeared to be heavily aligned with the landlords' interests, leaving tenants with limited support when issues arose. I also felt that they were quick to collect payments while showing far less commitment when it came to resolving tenant concerns. There were also situations involving contractors that left me feeling uncomfortable and raised questions in my mind about how certain matters were being handled. While I cannot comment on the reasons behind these situations, they contributed to my overall lack of confidence in the agency's professionalism and transparency. A couple of friends had warned me about this agency beforehand, but I chose not to pay much attention to their advice. Looking back, I wish I had taken those warnings more seriously. I would strongly recommend doing thorough research, asking questions, and obtaining everything in writing before deciding to deal with The Property Centre.

We believe this review relates to the same tenancy matter we have recently responded to, where a significant leak unfortunately made the property temporarily unsuitable to remain in while investigations and repairs were carried out.
During this period, the landlord funded alternative accommodation, and our team helped coordinate temporary housing and furniture removals at no cost to the tenants. When it became clear that contractors were unable to provide a definitive timescale for completion of the works, the option was also given to end the tenancy early without notice or penalty, so alternative long-term accommodation could be secured.
We fully appreciate that being required to leave your home unexpectedly is upsetting and disruptive. However, we do feel this review is unfair and does not reflect the level of support that was put in place during a difficult and unusual situation.
We are an independent, family-run business, and reviews like this can be very damaging; particularly where we feel they do not give a balanced reflection of the circumstances or the efforts made by our team to help.
We also always encourage tenants, landlords and clients to keep important matters in writing, and our team will always do the same wherever appropriate so there is a clear record for everyone involved.
We are sorry that you feel disappointed with your experience, but we are confident that we acted professionally, practically and with the intention of supporting all parties through a challenging situation.

I had very bad experiences with this agency as a tenant. Would never recommend them. Some staffs are really rude and unprofessional too.

We can see your attempt to cancel in January for your last business number with us - and then you did get charged again. We have immediately refunded the amount paid on 19th January. It looks like you had one seat left in your account but the cancellation didn't go through - which has now been processed by you.
There is a red 'Cancel' button in the bottom left of your Dashboard, and you can email us/speak to us on Live Chat to cancel your account - there are multiple areas in which you can cancel, but that said - we apologise if you found it difficult. Our Live Chat is available between 9-5pm, Monday-Friday, too, for any issues you may have had during your account.

Kantar media sent me a survey by royal mail. I filled it in and it said that a reward was approved and wil be delivered to email 2-5 business days. That was 2 weeks ago.... scam!
The number does not work and they make it extremely difficult to cancel the subscription on purpose, there is no way of doing it through their portal. There is a long winded way which doesnt even work. Please save your time and money.
