Professional, honest, successful

Manchester Durman should be the first choice and preferred agent for sales in the Sanderstead and surrounding area due to their unique proposition; they are an SME, set-up and established by highly qualified partners whose families live locally where the partners were themselves locally schooled, staffed by professional locals with extensive knowledge of the area (with their own children in local schools) and as importantly, supporting local businesses as well as the community. Their office is perfectly located too, supported by a well designed and easily navigated web site. As Executor to an estate, we invited five agents to view and value (local as well as national having a local presence); all five gave an identical valuation, with fees within 0.1% of each other; perhaps wisely, when asked for metrics used to measure performance, Manchester's response was inclusive of the 'human factor' rather than solely number driven data. Selection then was based on other criteria; previous reviews, confidence of a successful outcome, the efficiency and 'voice' of office telephone answering, response and action became deciding factors (inclusive legal fees and support were a welcome added bonus). This is a friendly, rather than aggressive, pushy, 'family feel' practice with determined and persistent staff, taking a 'relationship building' approach rather than being sales target driven (although having no knowledge of internal procedures this could be incorrect). Methodical, thorough and diligent, especially in the legal aspects, they achieved the original valuation and to a buyer who would appear to be perfect for the property and to the neighbourhood. Overall highly satisfactory but every organisation needs to continuously learn, adapt and be open to improvement to survive; Manchester's deserve to.

Sold and bought!

We placed our house with Manchester Durman during the pandemic and had also found a property to buy through them. Great care taken over viewings, purchaser, who had been properly vetted, found quite quickly, and purchase agreed on property we were buying. All this went very smoothly and the whole process was as stress free as these things can be. Staff in branch all extremely friendly, helpful and approachable. Overall a very positive experience.
