Absolutely shocking , I've looked at a number of properties for my daughter threw this company ,The man never rings you back an let you know the result of your interest in the properties. They tell you if your interested to ring you do then you hear nothing . My daughter has had to ring them chasing them about properties constantly. My daughter is desperate to be nearer me for support. Maybe they need to revaluate how they treat people .

if you are looking to rent in this current UK market DO NOT! consider, bother or approach helmores to do so.having had the diabolical experience which such a company I will not be recommending this half assed hoighty snub nosed lazy agency to a single person.I went in as they had a few properties 'to let' in the window, it was mid morning on a Wednesday and myself and my father were the only ones on the place, they were not busy.we were left standing around for 10 odd minutes before Becky who was on the sales team - not the lettings - came and approached us (I'm sure she would of sooner but she was the only staff member who appeared to actually be doing any work) she informed us that the ENTIRE LETTINGS TEAM were not in office. that they were all working from home?! Becky was the only saving grace of the entire company as she went out of her remit to engage and offered to call us back within an hour after making contact with the lettings team and took our details.within the hour Becky had kept her promise and called to update us, sadly she was unable to contact anyone on the lettings team.when the lettings team did eventually contact us we were told that none of the properties advertised or otherwise we're available. that the info was still on the windows to appear busy. but the lettings team had not shared this ingor with those in office and are too indecent to bother to maintain a good decent front by displaying any form of honesty in their conduct.if properties are not available then dont advertise them! if you elect to work from home then at the very least update the website, not like your showing properties from your own house is it? don't waste people's time, as your only wasting your own.the entirety of helmores proved it has no regard for the letting market at all. they would rather run you around and lie or evade you rather than actually appear in their own place of work and do their job.Becky you are far better than such a low brow failure of an agency.you would be fantastic with an agency worth your efforts. helmores. do. better.

First off, what you say Vs what happens or is seen do not line up. It's one thing to state your website ethos it's another to bother to apply it which was not doneAs for your redundant anecdote of the hairdresser's everyone knows that if a hairdressers is empty they welcome a walk in, if it's busy you carry on. Your store was empty. We didn't expect immediate service but any company boating 'best possible service' knows at least you say hello when someone walks in. You don't ignore them.Your story has also changed. When we came in we were told your team was working from home.Even when we were called by Becky for an update we were once again told they were working from home. So don't try to change your story now you're being called out. We were told work from home now your facing a fair yet colorful review rather than bother to make an effort to do any better your defending what was clearly subpar services.The only one in there who showed diligent work ethic was Becky who made any effort not one other staff member could be bothered to look past their own nose. Rather than telling us to apply to you through a third party website you made no effort in any email or previous phone call so we were pushed to the point of having to come in. And why have an empty store front of you won't bother with walk ins? Especially when previous attempts to contact you were meant with pure apathy. Regarding the UK market your staff member on the phone to us today said himself 'we often leave them up in the windows so they aren't empty' there is no insinuation we were told it from the horse's mouth direct so once again your online story and ethos do not match the actual events of the dayIt takes 2 minutes to put the red flag on the window post and with the amount of staff on their computers any of them could update the website post. The second a property is rented it should be updated it should be part of the basic process.You have the integrity of a Tory MP. You can reject it all you want but the fact remains we have been told and directed one way only for you to now at the point of public noise change the story

Never met a less prepared estate agent in all my life. Estate agent showed up late. Followed by this came into the property and began instantly blanking anything asked then finally responds to my questions with I don't know even to a simple questions such as where does the property end I figured this should be pretty clear considering its a flat. Did not try to display the property in any manner. Additionally tried to actively prevent me from looking where there just so happened to be freshly placed rat poison. I simply expect basic professional standards to be followed or even simply manners would suffice.

I viewed a property with helmores which I was very interested in. I asked questions on the appointment which their agent did not know the answers to, nobody came back to me with the answers after the viewing. I have emailed the office twice since the viewing that was a week ago and still no response?! On the viewing the agent made me feel like I was an inconvenience asking questions and said she doesn't know the answers as she is now disconnected from the office. I’m so sorry we made you feel an inconvenience on the viewing, it’s absolutely not something that was intended and quite out of character. Hands up we absolutely should have answered your questions on or after the viewing, but it seems this slipped the net unfortunately. I think this was partly due to the property being a probate sale and the sellers (who aren't local) not having much information on the property. Didnt even turn up to value our house, blaming the system for double booking us, not very professional, it might have been a one off but dosent help us

I’d like to address the 3 points you raised: Selling for the lowest value: In 2019 year-to-date, we've achieved 98.7% of asking price on average, versus the national average of about 96% (source: getagent.co.uk). Was it that your property wasn’t worth as much as you were hoping? Fees: we have a 97% fee satisfaction rating on allagents.co.uk based on 752 reviews over several years. Could you let me know what part of our service did you feel was not worth our fee so I can be specific? We do work on a no sale/no fee basis, so we don’t charge a penny unless we get you across the finish line. That's a really big incentive for us to work as hard as possible, and provide great service so that buyers and sellers are really happy. Shop around: Yes agreed, anyone considering selling their property should definitely do their research! We love all reviews whether good or no so good, so thanks again for taking the time! 😊 UPDATE 04/02/2020: We've discovered that this reviewer has never been a client of ours :(

Not a great service! My great aunt was very disappointed with everything about this local company including the expenses occurred. She went over to Purplebricks and they sold it within 2 weeks at a fraction of the cost...

Hi Vanessa, are you sure you have the right agent? We have never lost an instruction to Purplebricks! We also work on a no sale no fee basis, so there is no way your aunt would have incurred any expense at all (unlike Purplebricks where you have to pay upfront for everything whether they sell it or not).
