I dont know how this place has so many great reviews. From looking at them, you would think Harrisons were great but we had a truly awful time. I have a wife and young baby and Kathy has been nothing but a problem. Before we moved in to the apartment she was pressurising us to get into the property otherwise we wouldnt get it. A month or 2 after moving She made an impromptu visit and i felt her cold shouldering us. I dont know if my race played a part but unfortunately racism does exist. Then when we made the decision to leave 8 months after we moved in it was as though we had become an enemy. She made things difficult by claiming we had not a good job cleaning up even though me and my wife spent hours doing this. We even painted before we left. She first said she wants £80 but when i refused she claimed for £40. She tried coercing me by saying to just accept the dispute as itd take months to get my money back. Then she wouldnt reply to the emails or dispute process; trying to delay things as much as possible. Sorry Kathy but im not backing down on this. I do hope others have a better experience but all i can say is, especially now that we are with the loveliest agents at Purple Property, good riddance to Harrisons and Kathy.
Very bad estate agent everytime I require do not accept me because I'm on benefits but I go to college very bad service I wouldn't recommend this agency not very happy with service
Extremely unprofessional We drove almost 2 hours to view a house for 10am (having to take the morning off work) only to reach the property and be told 10 mins before our viewing that they do not have access to the house and will have to postpone the viewing to 2pm. If they had checked the day before they could have notified us earlier so we couldve rearranged our day, sad to say we could not view the property at the new time and lost out on an opportunity.
We put in a couple of offers on a property listed with Harrisons. They didn't even call us back to give updates or that they had eventually been declined
Wanted to view a property was told the slots hadn't been released and that they would call me back once they were. Called the next day to be advised no slots left Was advised I would receive a call to see if anything could be done...did I receive that call...nope. Incompetent and unprofessional
Few weeks back requested a valuation for my property after sending them images fro my property, still waiting for a reply. Recently requested more information regarding a property which went on rightmove, still awaiting a response. Not very professional in my opinion!
very bad experience with one of the staff. i felt as if she was racist, as she wouldn't show interest regarding viewings, communication or mannerisms towards my family, instead rather show interest towards a party of her skin colour, which i find disgusting. very selective of which clients to please, which in my opinion is a horrible way to do buisness. i will be coming in a few days to speak to the manger and give a piece of my mind. furthermore, all the bad reviews are from ethnics, while the clients who wrote better reviews are all the same skin tone as yourselves.
