Unprofessional letting staff. wastes peoples time and doesn't communicate whist collecting as much personal data as possible. Not to mention the security risks involved in collecting this data. very poor customer service from poorly trained staff.
After all the danger and suffering they put me through(non stop repairing, gas leak, oven electrical wires exposed, mice infection, pipe leak, cracked wall, broken door handle locked me inside the bathroom) , I can’t recall a single month without a handyman visiting my home. And just when I thought I can finally settle down they 21 SECTIONED me after only 1 year, in the call they said the landlord is going to sell the house then I saw it was re-listed with a much higher price on market. A total joke, and omg the AUDACITY they asked for £360 deduction from my deposit for cleaning fee?? When I moved in it was as dusty as London underground and with yellow stains in bathtub, walls, dust and back dirt everywhere, freezer not defrost, window now cleaned. And they asked ME for money that could hire a professional cleaner. I’m glad I have videos and pictures for all of that and we are going on DPS dispute but just the level of shameless shocked me, I always assume the best of people but this is just disgusts me to my bones. And to this landlord, £360 to sell your soul , really? When you re-listed the property for monthly 100£ more? When I put offer on this property their agent Ben made me wait for one whole week to hear back from this landlord, then it was the longest background check, they asked me EVERYTHING, from my past addresses and my current AND PREVIOUS landlords' info, my employee status, to my passport, and not only the passport ID, it was every single numbers and letters on the passport page(you know the two complicated lines at the bottom with "<<<"), my driving license, my EMPLOYEE ID, my brp card, and they all have to enter manually. After all this excruciating pain they required me pay the first rent fee before view and sign the official contract, I checked online it was not legal and asked them about it, and Ben said” well you can look other places then we have other people interested in this property” oh the humiliation, I was so desperate and spent so much time on this I have no choice but to be humiliated. And then after moving in , in one of the inspections I kindly asked their agent caina to remove shoes before entering and she didn’t , high heel shoes on my just cleaned floor. Is that because I’m a young foreign worker so they thought they could squeeze the last dignity of me? In the end there are 2 good things about this agency, the repairs are prompt except for the cracking wall that took 6 months. Some agent are good , Gregory is always kind to me and reply emails promptly. But still, this year was hell for me, it was my very first solo apartment and they sucked my blood and spit my bone with no remorse. Please don’t reply me “ there is no record of you renting from us” I may use sudo name but you know perfectly well who I am. EDIT: DPS gave my every penny back after 2 months! They also think the landlord doesn’t deserve even one penny of deduction given how awful the condition the property was. 😅Still wasted me so much time and mental load to collect emails and videos and photos I took before and during the tenancy. Please, avoid at all cost , give the good reviews on google maps a pinch of salt always.

Honestly if I could I would have given 0 star . The service is disgusting, I viewed a property with one of their stuff Ben. Twice and he never send the application to me regarding the property even tho I was the first one to view it. I was meant to write this review a while back but lost track of time I am glad I have found a different state agent which has way more professional staff & it was way more helpful.
Their tenants repeatedly caused problems to other tenants and neighbours, loud parties, fights, rubbish, blocked driveways etc. When we reported these problems we were either fobbed off, ignored completely, or had ridiculous excuses made for them. We ended up having to contact environmental health.
I have rented a flat from Ashleigh Stone for 10 months. There has been CONSTANT basic and huge disrepairs (I.e., entire roof replacement!) from the start, that the landlord knew about before I rented. Staff stated these to be “teething problems”! They didn’t even give me all the front door keys on the day I paid and signed the paperwork; I had to chase this for a long time, in the end they got a locksmith out as they didn’t have all the front door keys! They left me without heating and hot water for 9 days in December (as they rented this flat to me with a condemned boiler that I had to report to the Environmental Health!), and they are planning to do this to me again this month (no shower for 3 days this time!). I was unable to attend my mums 78th birthday in December due to being significantly ill as I had no heating or hot water directly due to the negligence of Ashleigh Stone and the Landlord. I was unable to work due to this and lost a significant amount of work and money. This ongoing nightmare has cost me thousands of pounds impacting my work and directly impacts my health. Many items remain in disrepair. Ashleigh Stone always down play situations which shows their lack of professionalism and efficiency. My rent is £1050 a month! They refuse to implement any action in a timely manner which always directly impacts my health and work! Worst renting experience in my entire life.NegativeQuality
I am the vendor at the top of the chain within which this agency have 2 properties involved at the bottom of the chain. In my experience, they do not respond to emails or return calls and as at today's date (24/1/2023) their sales progression answerphone message is wishing me a very happy Christmas - very unprofessional. I am not directly their client; however their actions impact on my onward purchase and as such I would expect all of the agents in a chain to work together to get things moving forward as quickly as possible, which they do not seem to be doing. As things stand, the chain is going to collapse for the third time (twice with this agent involved) in a 6 month period. Given that they don't get paid until the sales complete I am at a loss to understand why they seem so reluctant to help us. I think possibly with the market having been so buoyant for the last couple of years they have just become very complacent - if they want to stay in business they may need to up their game as the market is going to be more difficult in the future, I have left a further message - let's see if they have the courtesy to call as they have promised.
