I've had ongoing issues with Northwood as a whole. However, Amy Hadfield at Oldham has been brilliant and chased and chased until they were resolved for me. She's been a great support and help.

The staff at the Lees Branch were very accommodating, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble from arranging viewings to liaising with solicitors. The purchase of the property was smooth and we were kept informed at every stage.

Two very different experiences - one good, one bad. I first worked with Northwood to sell a house in 2022/3 and found them to be professional, responsive and helpful. On the basis of that experience I would have given 5 stars so I turned to them to sell another property in 2024. This was a strange and very different experience. Staff were still OK face to face but otherwise unprofessional, not returning a valuation as agreed, not calling, not replying to emails, just not communicating. Very odd I thought. Maybe they did not want the business which is their prerogative but the conduct around that caused unnecessary delays and was not handled in a professional manner. If you use Northwood and get the good you will be fine, but if you start getting hints of the bad I would think carefully. Three stars represents what I think is a fair balance of the two experiences.
