My experience of letting agents is they either care about your views and wishes or it's an uncomfortable sales pitch from the start. When I contacted Northwood my partner and I were in a difficult situation, having been dropped at the eleventh hour on a previous agreement. I explained the situation, we were granted a prompt viewing of a suitable property and secured the tenancy quickly and in time for our initial moving date. The ongoing service has been exemplary; the landlord was contacted quickly when a problem developed and the issue resolved. We have called into the office on a few occasions and are always met in a professional and good-humoured way by all the staff, so it feels easy to pass on any concerns or feedback. No complaints whatsoever and I would recommend Northwood without hesitation. 

We have worked with other rental agencies over a number of years, but none that have provided the excellent level of customer service and attention to detail as the Northwood team at Newport Pagnell. We have mostly dealt with Davina and Catherine who have both been brilliant, but many thanks also to the whole Northwood team for their continuing hard work and support.

I have been renting with Northwood for several years now, and cannot fault the service. The Senior Lettings Negotiator, Catherine found us the perfect home, in what was a smooth, quick and stress-free process, all of which Catherine handled in her stride, keeping us updated at every step of the way. To this end the communication from Catherine and her colleagues was first rate, making us aware of what was happening and what the next steps would be, and the time-frames that I could expect. All in all a fabulous service which I cannot recommend enough.

I’ve been with this agency for more than 2 years , never had problems , the only 3 stars it’s because I wait to long for my deposit to be returned and that was very frustrating.

Quite expensive admin fee of £450. Very friendly staff but later realised that we were hardly given that much information on the property we were going for re: working appliances, use of heating. Wanted to move in within a week but then had to chase them within the last few days to see what was going on. But we got there in the end. Northwood from my experience are just a brief introduction to your landlord. You pay, complete your checks and references, then they give you keys and an email address and send you on your way.
