This place needs their fire alarms sorted out! Ringing through entire day and night on a sunday!

Quite predatory - they charged me £100 to "secure the property" I applied for and had already made an agreement for. At the time, I was coming from Canada and I did not really understand UK laws, but have now been told by several people (and after searching up online) that this fee is illegal. My agent was Louie Alden. Also, I had to email and politely ask in person several times for my inventory for my flat but never received it, which I believe is quite dishonest. Just very disappointing as it was my first experience renting in the UK.

Utterly useless. AI is pathetic and has made my renting process an utter nightmare. Avoid at all costs!

Shockingly bad service!! I am so stressed out with not being able to talk to anyone and am feared of losing my tenancy due to their delays. I'm semi self employed and have provided copy of my full tax return that has been submitted to hmrc, and now they want the receipt of said tax return. I have this document and it is restricted file that cannot be shared! I can't talk to a human and the estate agent can't do anything either. Stressed and completely frustrated by a company that is dealing with such sensitive data and you cannot speak to anyone other than an automated chat bot😡

Very "thick" customer service it only goes one way street not offering too many choices in regards of the information you need to provide via website only and they don't take your word for good or other legal paperwork is like you are talking with AI get better results from it than the representative person itself.

So far the experience with goodlords has not been good!

Very bad service, they charged me booking a property with my agency and gave no clauses whatsoever and now they are refusing to accept my tenancy references in spite of the fact that it has never been a problem before. They wont even refund my holding deposit, there no calling or customer support numbers and no emails to reach out to them as well. Absolutely SCAM AND FRAUD Company. Would never deal with an agency who has partnership with GoodLords.

So this company do really split the room! As you can see I am one of the badly disappointed. In essence the process is very clunky and you are bombarded with compliance emails. The system failed to properly take a payment which delayed the referencing process before I had paid again. You cannot call the company and if there are live agents not chatbots then they cannot call you. Except of course if they are trying to sell you insurance and despite me having said online that i wasnt interested. Anyway their business model is not driven by tenants feedback but if you are a landlord then please consider the pain that you are putting your tenants through even before they have moved in. Oh and if you are self employed you are effectively left guessing what HMRC return will satisfy them.

This has been hilariously awful and i will never deal with any agency associated with goodlord in the future

Frustrating, slow and stupid. If I have to repeat one more step I'm going to give up and rent elsewhere.
