Had a terrible time with ryder and Ditton middleton. Staff very very rude. We put an offer in on a property. We kept asking how our offer went we were then told by a staffember the vendor went with a young family. So our offer had been refused based on age which is age discrimination I would have thought.It is not a problem someone else getting a property but when the estate agent laughs at you and tells you it was based on age then it is age discrimination. When challenged the estate agent he became very rude. I would not deal with Ryder and Dutton again and certainly not use them or spend my money with them.

An absolute joke of an estates agency and definitely the worst in Essex. I did not even want to give them one star, they should get minus five!! A total utter shambles from the top down. In particular Joe Hayes! An absolute joke of a person who only cares for his commission and not the clients buying the property. They will bully and rush you to complete, trust me you will do well to choose another agency. STAY WELL CLEAR OF BALGORES AND ESPECIALLY JOE HAYES!

The agent didn't know details about the listed property and had to call back after checking with the owners. Noting of the kind happened, only for me to find that already sold when called chasing.

DO NOT USE!!! Rubbish… overprice your house then do nothing to sell it. Had to complain to directors to get any attention. Didn’t even change the sign to sold!! Avoid!! Many viewings unplanned, late and uninformed. Further to your reply…. I’ve already emailed that address prior to this post and you’ve still failed to deliver service… replying to overcome a negative response failed…

Quite literally the worst estate agent I have dealt with, properties advertised are not for sale, trying to book a viewing is near on impossible, no one ever calls you back. I give up on Chancellors and will buy a property through another estate agent
