We have just finished selling our property through Stow Brothers. Their service throughout was excellent. We listened to their advice about pricing and the property sold very quickly. William then managed our queries throughout the conveyance process brilliantly. Very impressed with the service we received and I would strongly recommend them as decent agents.
Me and my partner have just recently rented our dream flat with the help of Stow Brothers. No one likes flat hunting the best of times so we were so pleasantly surprised and at ease with the help of Ben from Stow Brothers. We viewed a couple of their properties and knew from the beginning we would want to rent through them. The quality of the properties on their books are so lovely. All of the representatives that we met we found to be really friendly and not at all pushy. In the end we worked with Ben to secure our place and he made everything so easy for us. We feel so happy to be in our new home and at ease knowing we have such a lovely company and landlord to rent through. We feel totally trusted that everything is managed properly and efficiently. Ben has answered all of our concerns quickly and with care and consideration. It's been an absolute pleasure to find our new home with Stow Brothers. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy a new home.
Really good experience with Stow Brothers. The photographs they took were good. After initially dealing with Nathan, we took his advice on pricing our property and had a genuine buyer after the open day. William was assigned to see our case through and he was good at responding to my phone calls and queries. Every one there is polite and helpful and our sale went through very smoothly. I would definitely recommend this estate agent. They are better than the average E17 estate agent you will come across in Walthamstow.
I both sold my previous property and bought my new one through Stow Brothers. Very glad I did. What a lovely bunch. Compared to any other agencies I've dealt with, they were personal, communicative and accommodating at all times. Particularly appreciated the personal contact with Andrew (one of the brothers) who helped lend weight to reassurance around the market and my position, helping me secure want we were after both through the sale and purchase processes. Would thoroughly recommend these guys to anyone else looking to buy or sell in the area.
Estate agents generally have a terrible reputation. Stow Brothers buck that trend spectacularly. We bought our house in Walthamstow through SB and every step of the process was managed brilliantly. All the viewings we attended were managed with charm and professionalism. They were honest, polite and friendly throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We had a really good experience using The Stow Brothers...couldn't fault them in any way through the whole process of selling our house. From our initial meetings with Andrew we felt we were in safe hands, whilst Jon and all the staff we dealt with in the office were friendly and helpful and always on top of things. I have no hesitation in recommending these guys!
Lovely and trustworthy people. After many years of bad experiences with estate agents, a breath of fresh air.
Kenny provided a fair and accurate appraisal of our property. He was a lovely guy and had a detailed knowledge of the local area (E11).
Amazing personal and professional service. Really enjoyed the whole process which is not something you can say about moving house very often. Really appreciated how the team went the extra mile for us. Smart, friendly and really straight forward. I'm just sorry I've now moved out of the area so can't use them next time!!
Firstly, stow brothers are a completely unique estate agents. They have a completely different approach to dealing with people and properties. I was the seller for the property Jake is describing (the bad review), although his account is completely deluded. In a nutshell Jake wasn't the highest offer and 5 other people offered exactly the same amount. My wife was expecting our second baby and we were in a rush to move. A few days before exchange he decided he wants 25k off of the asking price. A week of negotiating, we agree to 10k reduction to hurry things along. For the next 1 month, after he changes mortgages, goes on holiday etc. We were desperate to exchange contracts but he is quite obviously ignoring all calls and emails to stall and wait for the 'Brexit' vote. It was quite obvious to us, but we had no choice but to wait and we certainly didn't think we would vote to leave the EU. On the morning, he obviously drops out and says "he needs to take a step back and think". We put the house back on 3 weeks later. We lose our purchase. Result in 3k out of pocket. When the house goes back on the market, and we have viewings lined up, he decides he wants to buy it again and puts in another offer. This is my shortened version. He was a complete time waster and had a big problem with the fact that we profited from the sale as much as we did. The Stowbrothers rightfully won't deal with people who behave in a way which wastes peoples time and money. During this stressful time, the Stowbrothers were amazing. The most perfect mediators and always very professional. Not like the typical slick back hair, shiny suits untrustworthy estate agents you meet most of the time. Lovely people too.
