How are people saying 5 stars to this management company? If I can give them 0 stars, I would. This is a company that does not care about their properties or the tenants who live in it. This is a company who loves to over charge, ignore our concerns and refuse to fix issues that have been ongoing for weeks - months. One example (out of so many), we have been charged for window cleaning since we moved in (which was in September 2020) but not once have they cleaned our windows. Yet, they're charging us £1200? How is that acceptable? Another issue has been that our one and only communal elevator has been out of service for almost a month and there hasn't been one person who has come to fix it or even check on the issue. The property manager, the company as a whole has been utterly disappointing. Please check who is your property management company before purchasing property!
Terrible terrible service. I live in a flat managed by Ringley. I have experienced nothing but incompetence and empty promises. Stay away.
Dismal and extremely bad customer service. I was constantly chasing them as their promise to call me back never materialised. I would not recommend using them to manage any rental property. Avoid at all costs. Horrible horrible Company.
I’ve been a tenant in one of the flats managed by Ringley for a while now. All I can say is STAY AWAY. This company is just horrendous. Don’t be fooled by the fake 5 star reviews. Take note of how many 1 star reviews they have. It’s a bit suspicious isn’t it?
I have recently purchased a flat in a house managed by Ringleys. They have proved incapable of solving a drainage problem. Other leaseholders have confirmed that they are inactive apart from levying their management fee - for which they provide precious little management. Avoid.
If I could give zero, I would. Shocking company to deal with.
Useless bunch. Had problems for 7 months now that they've known of and none of them have been fixed. My tenancy has been a living hell because of these people. Avoid!
If Ringley's manage the property you are considering I would think twice before making that commitment. Truly appaling and incompetent, at every step Ringley's have made numerous mistakes and provided incorrect information - worst of all they are unapologetic and even make attempts to deceive you.
I lived in a block managed by Ringleys for 8 years. poor comunication from them, managing agents always leaving the buisness which isnt a good sign! Moved out a month ago and they have asked multiple times for service charge payment and are ignoring emails back to them. It once took me 6 months to get a gate zapper from them which they charged an extortionate amount for. I never heard back about the safety tape blocking the car park (so I never knew if it was safe to use). They have ignored multiple emails to their legal departments. Always nice on the phone but nothing ever gets done! If I had to choose a managing company I would never use Ringleys.
I have to agree that if ever again I had to choose I wouldn't pick this company. In my case as a homeowner they were appointed over my head to manage the small block where we lived. Compared with the two other firms I knew their behaviour was immediately high-handed and alienating. We were invited to seek their advice at a cost of £150 an hour. They were always looking for a chance to make extra money out of us, on top of the standard whack for not doing very much. Several staff proved unreliable. Two simply disappeared after claiming to be our new managers and making personal contact. it turned out one had resigned without ever setting up the account and we never met the second person again. In my view the legal and surveying departments were partlcularly weak by which I mean in the first instance they have at least one member of staff ignorant of the job. They just issued a new invoice when they got stuck. In the second instance 'surveys' conducted without entering the property were unlikely to be reliable though the 'evidence' was used in an official capacity. Meanwhile there's an absurd policy of not requiring individual property managers ever to visit the actual property they look after -- so they don't know whether you live in Grenfell Tower, Buckingham Palace or something close to a squat. Instead they send round every half year a sort of hit squad completely insensitive to its surroundings and very keen to photograph evidence of infringed rules so that tenants can be shamed and threatened. Plastic notices stuck to the wall and designed to offer advice to hundreds of tenants didn't exactly fit in the newly-painted hall of our small Victorian villa. The head honcho is better than her staff but the end result was certainly misery for me.
