After a terrible experience with Winkworth Blackheath and a major issue with disrepair in the property managed by them, not to mention their rudeness, my partner and I thought of enquiring with John Payne as we always met kind and caring agents when doing viewings with them or Acorn. I met Jake, Daniele and Suzzannah from the Lee and Blackheath offices and was very happy with their customer service skills and assistance while we were looking for a new place. They also had an inclusive and non discriminatory attitude which was refreshing after being told by other agencies our dog “was the problem” and that we had to stretch our budget because of that. We found our new home thanks to John Payne and finally found a great place for us and our dog.

Chris & Max from John Payne recently helped us to sell our house in Hither Green. They were very clear and responsive with their communication and they helped us to negotiate a good market price. I would recommend this agency.

Before I started looking for a property, I've heard so many horrible things from other people that bought properties, so I was ready for the worse. But Chris and his colleagues at John Payne Lee branch have been fantastic in communicating, keeping everyone informed and moving the process along step by step. I can honestly say no matter how calm one tries to remain, moving house is an emotive and complex process where there are many moving parts. Chris and Will at John Payne, Lee; time and time again showed their knowledge, expertise and experience to make the whole experience as personable and professional as possible. Just when I was about to give up Will persuaded me otherwise. Rob and I adore our new home. Shout out to Max too - you’re lucky to be learning from such great guys! Thank you all. I am grateful.🙏🏽🥰

Chris and his team were fantastic. They were so helpful, I honestly couldn't have wished for a better team of estate agents. They helped me enormously. Will and Chris did a great job of helping us sell our property. They were friendly and professional from the start and didn't do a hard sell like some estate agents. I really feel they worked hard to get our sale through and would definitely recommend John Payne to others.

Will, Jack and their team from the Lee branch did a wonderful job of accompanying us on the journey to ownership. First, Will found us a place filling our requirements, and then, they were able to help us on the whole process, which can be quite stressful for first time buyers. All in all a very good experience!

I bought my flat in SE13 through the John Payne Lee office. Max followed the sale from start to end and he did a great job! He was very efficient, helpful, communicative and responsive to my many requests. He was friendly and made me feel at ease throughout. Would highly recommend and would consider them for future purchases and sales!

We are moving into our new rental property on Saturday and have had a great experience with John Payne. Pernilla was really helpful, knowledgable and incredibly quick to reply when we had questions. The process was really smooth and Georgia and Lisa at Acorn were both really helpful throughout referencing and admin stages, would highly recommend!
