We first dealt with John Payne when we called them about a house advertised on Rightmove. We spoke to Claire Pay who organised the viewing and accompanied us. Although we did not proceed any further with this house, Claire organised some other suitable viewings, accompanying us on each occasion. We finally made an offer on one house and for various reasons the purchase fell through. All the time Claire and her colleagues kept us updated and responded quickly to any issues we had. They worked very hard for us and for their vendor. I would certainly recommend them especially if I had a house to sell.

Matt King and Chris Wadeson were very helpful in our recent house purchase. Always prompt to respond to queries which helped keep the transactions on track. We used John Payne in East Greenwich for our sale also and found them to be significantly more proactive than other estate agents we have dealt with. JP don't just rely on portals as have genuinely strong local knowledge/connections. If selling or buying in SE London I would recommend John Payne as an obvious first call.

We used John Payne's Lee Green branch to manage both the sale of our exiting property at the time and the search for the next home. Nothing was too much trouble and while Claire, managed most of our day-to-day business (and was superb) everyone we spoke to at the agency was exceptionally helpful. Worth noting is that the team at John Payne work seven days a week, while many others in the area close on Sundays. This was very useful when looking for a new home while working full time and shows John Payne's commitment to providing outstanding levels of customer service. Understated and friendly and not at all the stereotypical estate agents, Will found us a place instantly and Chris helped us get an offer accepted within days.
