We bought our first house through John Payne and found them to be very accommodating. Ben led the sale and was transparent throughout the process about where we were, ensuring he updated us regularly. Naturally, we were quite anxious to complete before the Stamp Duty deadline and thanks to the team, were able to do so. We experienced some difficulties towards the end of the purchase, which was no fault of John Payne's. However, the team patiently listened to our grievances, took our feedback on board and reverted back to us with recommendations. Susan has been fantastic from the time she started to show us properties all the way to the completion date. She went above expectations, advising on solicitors, and making sure we got timely updates during the sales process, being extremely reactive to queries and to follow up with the vendor on enquiries. All in it was a pleasure working with Susan, she was extremely reliable and provided us with invaluable advices.

Another estate agency might have given up, with the endless ongoing complications and legal delays we experienced. They helped us through practical issues and maintained great dialogue with the buyers, so that they didn't give up on a protracted sale. They were endlessly patient, courteous, efficient and HELPFUL, and really went 'above and beyond' anything that could have been expected of them. Would I recommend them? You couldn't find a better branch in which to place your trust.

An excellent estate agent. We were based with the East Greenwich office and they have been excellent from start to finish. After being disappointed with a previous agency, we turned to John Payne and enjoyed a completely different experience. Honest, up-front, excellent communication, reliable.. My house found a buyer quickly however there was a lot of follow through that needed to happen after that point and Sue Denny did a fantastic job with that. There was a fairly complex lease situation with a lot of back and forth between lawyers which Sue kept track of - always responding quickly, clearly having a good understanding of what needed to be done next. She was efficient and always amenable to taking care of details. We are grateful to the company overall who advertised the property well and who helped push through when necessary with the conveyancing company.
