Sue Denny did a fantastic job - I had the experience of both selling and purchasing a property with her. She is very pleasant and helpful to deal with throughout, she pushes deals along when they get stuck, she goes out of her away to be available (even sometimes on her day off!), and her experience means she can offer helpful advice on other aspects of property sales such as solicitors, contractors etc. I couldn’t ask for a better estate agent to work with. If you are buying or selling in Greenwich, go with John Payne.

John Payne East Greenwich gave a realistic, but fairly high, recommendation for price we should put our house on sale for. They had an excellent knowledge of the area having sold the most properties in the area out of the agents we got valuations from. They had buyers waiting to buy on that street and so our house was on the market for less than a week and it was only on that long whilst we negotiated the price with the buyers. Sale took a long time (5 months) but through no fault of the agent and luckily we weren’t in a rush. Ben was relentless in checking on the latest status of all parties and passing on messages, more so than my own solicitor was. Many thanks!

After months of untold calls, emails and countless amounts of paperwork, I have finally exchanged contracts and am counting down the days to collect the keys to my new home - all thanks to team at John Payne Greenwich. From the very first viewing, they (I mainly dealt with Susan Denny) has been extremely helpful, professional and so incredibly supportive, I honestly cannot thank her enough. Buying a home can be a very long process, often stressful, especially when there are so many moving parts that all need to work in sync with one another, so having someone on hand that is organised and communicative is absolutely crucial. For anyone looking to buy (especially now) I would say be prepared, get your paperwork ready, find a good solicitor, broker and if possible an estate agent that has experience and cares about/ understands their customer. I would highly recommend John Payne Greenwich to anyone looking in that area Thanks again team JP

Our experience with John Payne was absolutely excellent from the initial valuation and marketing through to completion. The whole team were friendly, professional and accommodating. Sue went above and beyond when we went ahead with the sale to a very tight timetable. There is no doubt that without her efforts we would not have completed on time. I would recommend Sue and the entire branch without hesitation.

After consulting with a number of agents I decided to list my property for sale with John Payne. My point of contact Susan was absolutely fantastic, always providing updates, responding promptly to any emails and guidance to as to where we were during the selling process. I had a very positive experience and would definitely use them again. I would be happy to recommend them looking to sell their property and in particular Susan for her stellar work in getting this sale over the line.

We purchased our new home through John Payne, East Greenwich in 2022. Our sales manager, Susan Denny, was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process, and kept in continuous contact with ourselves and the rest of the chain to ensure our house move went through as quickly (and smoothly) as possible. We did have some issues with the speed at which our solicitor was working, but Susan (and her team) were tenacious in keeping on top things, and getting us over the line. Working with John Payne was an extremely positive experience, and we’d would not hesitate to recommend this estate agent, or to work with them again.
