Terrible communication. Makes you do all the checks and doesnt bother communicating with you after. Greg needs to up his game shoddy avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booked property view, unfortunately agent didn't show up, not even phone call that he/she will be late. We waited extra 15 minutes. Bad experience. Won't recommend. Unfortunately, there was another viewer with us . Mother with her daughter, and they weren't happy at all, too. No cancellation message or email was sent at all. On the day of viewing, it was sent to me a reminder message with the date and time for the property view. And when I rang to Silver Oak estate, Greg did ask me, " Oh, the guy didn't show up"? He appeared surprised, too... And ask if we are available the next day.

The viewing you booked was part of a block appointment with several other applicants. After the landlord confirmed the property was no longer available, we cancelled all viewings and sent out cancellation notices. All other attendees acknowledged receipt—except your booking. You mentioned a 'mother with her daughter' also waiting at the property, but we didn’t receive any other reports of attendance on the day apart from yourself. The reminder message you received was an automated one sent before the cancellation notice was issued, which may understandably have caused some confusion—and I’m genuinely sorry for that. I appreciate your disappointment and hope this helps provide some clarity. Wishing you all the best with your rental property search going forward.

Only given it 1 star because there's no zero, I went to view a property today in cradacock street, the property was absolutely disgusting and so dirty, the couple before me were coming out gagging and the agent was giggling to himself saying bye... An absolutely disgusting property...... Shocking!!!!!

We went through Silver Oak to purchase a property and got led on and lied to to be quite honest. multiple parties were interested in the property, the estate agent Greg said that he didn't want to start any bidding wars and asked the parties to present one final offer for the owner to look at. Our offer initially got accepted by the owner and we started the legal process to secure and purchase the property. We then received a message a few days later saying that someone else had offered more. We offered higher and it went back and forth like this for a few days. The agent created a bidding war which he initially said he did not want to happen this led us to extreme stress and upset as we didn't have long to find somewhere to live. I would not recommend this agent. I hope other first time buyers find this helpful.

Went through Silver Oak to purchase a property and got led on and lied to to be quite honest. multiple parties interested in the property, estate agent said that he didn't want to start any bidding wars and asked for one final offer from the parties. Our offer got accepted by the owner initially and things were looking good. To then receive a message a few days later saying that someone else had offered more. The agent created a bidding war which led to extreme stress and upset (we were "gazumped"). would not recommend this agent due to this deception.

Reading these reviews, I cannot believe that the same person runs this company. We needed emergency plumber and electrician at 9am and when he didn’t answer the phone, we went to his property to ask him who to contact. He was extremely rude and told us to call 999 if it was an emergency. Water was pumping out of a tap (that had already been reported as being malfunctioning six weeks earlier) and it caused the electrics to spark!. He said “do you know that there is a tap outside the house to turn off the water”? We told him we had done this but with three babies under 3, being without water was unacceptable. We only wanted the number of a plumber and electrician to sort out the dangerous conditions. He again said to call 999. So we did! The fire brigade came out and turned off the electric, then isolated the problems and told us we needed to get an electrician asap to sort it out. Silver Oak is meant to be looking after the accommodation for the landlord. If you are a landlord, think twice before dealing with this company as they obviously have no care for your tenant, or your house as this should have been sorted 6 weeks ago before it came to this! Edit: The address for the business is where we visited at 9.20 this morning, not expecting to be waking up someone who is meant to be in charge of looking after tenants interests. The fire brigade isolated the damaged/soaked sockets, which we couldn’t do, or wouldn’t even attempt to do anyway! You were the one who said any emergency must be dealt with by the emergency services! That is ridiculous. Heating breakdown is an emergency in the cold, who do you suggest she calls then? The police, maybe? Single parent with three children under 3! There are such things as emergency plumbers and electricians. Maybe you need to check what the ‘emergency services’ - ie 999 - are actually for! Also I said the chap with me was a retired policeman as you were trying to quote the law at us In a very rude, dismissive and abrupt way! Don’t put words into my mouth - he’s not my husband! You were no help at all and you are the letting agent taking money from the poor landlord, and not doing your job! I’m sorry that I disturbed your 2 month old baby. The three babies in your let were very disturbed. As was the poor mother! For shame on you

Yes I have told you and I will say it again: Silver Oak Property Ltd, (or I), is not an emergency service. Please use common sense and act accordingly. Booked a viewing. Turned up and the outside was scruffy and not clean. The agent did not turn up. When I called there was no apology. I proved I made the booking but was just told lots of people are interested. When I contacted again, no apology was given. Unprofessional and rude.
