On the 25th January 2022, our offer was excepted and we instructed our solicitor. Everything was proceeding well to the point of exchange. When the seller revealed that he had not found anywhere else to buy. We waited and waited, all the time phoning chancellors to try and find out what was happening. Finally our solicitor had enough and sent us a bill for all the work that he had done. Following a phone call from Matt 6 weeks ago , who asked what was happening and did we want to pull out. To which we said no. Today we have received an email saying that the seller no longer accepts our offer and upon going on Google , we find the property back up for sale. Upon contacting Matt , he told us that the seller is going to stay put for another year. So if you want to waste money on a solicitor and all the relevant searches and not buy a house . Then I recommend Chancellors otherwise I would go elsewhere.

Under no circumstance rent or sell with this terrible unscrupulous company. They are about nothing but making a quick pound and they’re pure gorilla sales techniques are frankly scary

So my daughter was offered a flat in the Wokingham area they took my daughters money and the day before she was due to move in it was cancelled absolutely no support from kerry they haven't paid her money back and have been unprofessional and rude. She is having to sleep in a car as she has no money until they pay her back shocking service would never recommend these to anyone

The agent didn't know details about the listed property and had to call back after checking with the owners. Noting of the kind happened, only for me to find that already sold when called chasing.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

DO NOT USE!!! Rubbish… overprice your house then do nothing to sell it. Had to complain to directors to get any attention. Didn’t even change the sign to sold!! Avoid!! Many viewings unplanned, late and uninformed. Further to your reply…. I’ve already emailed that address prior to this post and you’ve still failed to deliver service… replying to overcome a negative response failed…

Quite literally the worst estate agent I have dealt with, properties advertised are not for sale, trying to book a viewing is near on impossible, no one ever calls you back. I give up on Chancellors and will buy a property through another estate agent

Not great. Cant provide safe secure housing and won’t provide details in order to secure home insurance. I would go with someone else.

Absolutely shocking service! Save yourself the grief, stress of dealing with incompetent and immature "NON SALES" individuals. They are completely clueless of the housing market and DO NOT KNOW how to deal with people. We gave them our house on a 5 month agreement which is far too long! Failed to sell due to lack of experience, constant change of personnel due to sackings/breakdowns etc and immaturity of closing a deal and following up. Thank you to my RING.com, I could see and hear their inexperience each time which was so excruciating. Prior to one viewing, I had to take one of sales negotiators around the house and actually take him through the key selling points of selling my Home....can you imagine that!All their emails are are on a copy and paste basis with a slight change to parrot fashion feedback which as a VENDOR I do NOT want to hear the same crap! I heard afterwards they get paid for listing your house so be aware of being sucked in with their chatty deliverables as they are NON existent. Save yourself the bother and hassle!
