Very bad experience with this agency, drove 40 mins each way for a viewing, to a house they had withdraw info from. Cannot recommend, and would suggest not wasting your time with them.

Sadly, I have to say I've had a particularly bad experience with this company. As a prospective tenant that made every effort to meet the referencing criteria (by our deadline to give notice on our current letting agent), we were unfortunately refused a landlord's reference during the process, unless we committed to leaving our current tenancy. We were required to commit to leaving, whilst being given no guarantee we would be able to move-in. Now, this doesn't necessarily reflect on Isabelle estates; except, when we made them aware of this issue and tried to pursue and provide a suitable alternative to a landlord's reference (providing full rental payment history, as suggested on the citizen's advice website), all attempts for a resolution, by any other means, were completely rejected. Again, this isn't necessarily poor service as they are completely within their rights to do this; except, they tried to claim we were time wasters and made claim to our holding deposit. After speaking directly with citizen's advice, and confirming they do not have the right to do this in these circumstances, they have agreed to refund the holding deposit; I am currently awaiting the refund. Sorry to say, I won't be using this company going forward.

AVOID this place! Lousie who answered the phone is abosultely helpless. I phoned yesterday (21.07.2022) to enquire about a property in Hitchin and she said someone would get back to me. (they never did). Then I called again this morning and apparently she recognised me as she said: "ah you are the one who wants to know if a kitten is allowed in a property?". Then she goes: "from previous conversations I had with this landlord he doesn't seem to want a pet". Is Lousie guessing here or just trying to get rid of me on the phone? I was highly interested in seeing other properties in the area as well , but with this rubbish customer care and her lack of interest in offereing other places I simply gave up on Isabelle Estates. They are losing a good client today! I shall look at another decent and respectful place now.

Just went to take a look of a property in Garden city and we were told that we will receive call once they contact the landlord. They explained to us that is gonna take one to two days .Anyway we were waiting one week without answer. Very poor service, no communication at all. When we called them back after week we found out that we were not even register in the agency. Don't recommend it at all. The prices for references also are doubled compare to another agencies for same properties.
