I can absolutely recommend Miles & Barr Folkestone. In particular I would like to thank Lucy Stocker (Sales Agent), Evie Mattey (office administration) and Lauren Mayes (sales negotiation). The whole team were excellent. The photographer’s photos are really good - the first sight is the most important. Lucy was good at keeping me informed of any sales progress and Evie was most helpful in putting together sales material. Lauren, especially kept our chain alive despite a few moments, such as the bottom of the sale dropping out and a divorce in the mix too. With Lauren’s super proactive involvement a whole chain finally exchanged and then completed; no mean feat. A-Mayes-ing Lauren! Well done M&B Folkestone and thank you!

The whole process of buying a house this time round is polar opposites from my first time. I bought through Miles & Bar back in February. I have two small children and was very stressed with the idea of uprooting from our family home and moving. From the initial 'registration process' right through to actually viewing, I found the staff to be helpful, pleasant and personable. (safe to say this cant be said for all estate agents in Folkestone, but I will save that for another review!). After a long day of viewings with two over tired three year old's, James at Miles and Barr had surprisingly popped back to the office in-between our appointments and had collected two small 'Miles & Barr footballs' for the boys. This was very much appreciated and saved a very close tantrum from occurring! I will not forget the top service that was received and I would strongly recommend them as an agent of choice.

Getting my property valued and marketed was a smooth and honest process but the 5 * are for the work from the point of accepting an offer. Lauren (I hope she doesn't mind me naming her) was a constant support through the sometimes anguished process of seeing the sale through. She was constantly monitoring the progress, cajoling solicitors, keeping me updated and generally being a star. Property selling is not the easiest process to go through but with the help of Lauren and Miles & Barr it was as simple and stress free as it could be. Thanks

I can’t recommend Miles and Barr high enough They sold our house in under a month when other agents failed. Slightly higher fees but you get what you pay for. Lauren who was our sales handler was fantastic, she always kept me informed and got back to me. Everyone in the Folkestone branch was very professional.

I'd never sold a house before, and I was hearing allot of negative things about estate agents in general! So I was really happily surprised with my experience with Miles and Bar. In particular the department they call the progressers... A lovely lady called Lauren took all the stress and strain out of dealing with the sellers and their solicitors. Every time I was about to call for an update, she had already sent me an email. Any concerns I had, I'd write to her asking her to call, she got straight back to me with useful information. Great service all the way though the sale. The professionally taken photos made the house look great and built interest. Once the offer was accepted the support we got from Lauren throughout the sales process was second-to-none. We were regularly kept informed and any issues were smoothed out very quickly. Would definitely recommend them, wholeheartedly.

The really important thing with an estate agent isn’t just getting your home marketed and out there, it’s also about getting a buyer through to completion quickly and easily. Miles & Barr really worked well for us getting our home on the market. From selling to mortgage advice to help with solicitors, they were great. Once we had an interested buyer, Lauren worked with us, our buyer, and our solicitor and really excelled in making sure everyone was communicating and moving things along. Miles & Barr cost a little more than some other estate agents, but I’d say the extra really is worth it for such an important thing as selling a house!

Miles& Barr have recently sold a property for my parents, everyone involved worked above & beyond in my view, it took a total of 7 weeks to complete. I would particularly like to praise Lauren who rang me weekly with updates, she was so friendly, polite and very professional ( I miss our little chats ) I would most definitely recommend Miles & Barr to friends & family in the future.
